Tony would have known about that when the story started cause Tony does book long term. I doubt that was a shock to them he is going Everest since he was meant to last year

I kinda disagree with this but see where you're coming from. If Darby was ever a plan, they knew these were also his plans so that's on AEW. I don't really get the posts on page one acting like this was news to AEW, they would have known is was a very delayed angle if they went with Darby.

I think it's likely he's an option, but I highly doubt the Death Riders have a clear endgame, which can be good or bad. I think it's mirroring reality in that who beats Moxley will be whoever they deem as "stepped up" and they're setting Darby up to do that but that doesn't mean he will or something else won't happen before that changes everything anyway.

But obvious booking to me is Ospreay and you market it like him becoming the guy to lead AEW for the next decade

Long story short the best way to book the angle is to keep it going while trying to get a major babyface out of your top candidates and you hope that happens and you go with the hottest before it gets too stale or you have to tweak something

No, I disliked it more when it started than now, the riddle promos. I'd like to see more of something to sink my teeth in on the babyface side but I'm content with the death riders just doing this stuff rn as long as I care about the guys stepping up to them

Ya I'm kind of in the same boat, felt it it low point with the tbs takeover nothing burger. I loved the world's end program even if I never felt mox in too much danger (which is ok , long reigns are ok. Stars losing is ok). Thought everyone was well enough protected too.

I like the group rn, I think yuta plays a good tole. I think Claudio is really mean and stern. Sure if like them to get to the next storybeat tho. I think that's fair too.

But I don't get the vocal outrage that it's bad. Like at all.
