I say wtf is wrong with people having kids in their late 30s. By the time your kids are 20, you'd be almost 60. If you're mature enough and financially stable, the sooner the better IMO.

20s is the age to have fun, having kids mean settling down responsibilities etc etc, which i dont believe most 20 year olds are mature enough to follow.

You say older in mentality, and follow it up with that statement? Just because you're not mature enough to handle responsibilities, doesn't mean other people can't. Perhaps if people took on some responsibilities at a younger age, there wouldn't be so many lazy people living in their parents' basement in their 30s.

Fact is if people are in a relationship and ready for kids age isn't a factor. I know plenty of 18-20 year olds sensible enough to have kids and be great parents. Not everyone needs to party in there 20's. Some see kids as having fun not a burden or hinderence to living life.

In fact, it's well known being married helps you live longer, that's a fact. Smoking and drinking are shown to shorten life, also a FACT. I'd rather be surrounded by my wife and kids, then party all the time and be alone.

I agree, i'd rather be surrounded by people i love and admire. from 18-20 I did the partying scene and it really got me no where. I was out doing whatever I could to destroy myself. I'm much healthier mentally and physically now. I know the meaning of true love (kids)
