Michael Cole was put in his place by the young Josh Matthews. I'd like to see Cole talk trash to Danielson in the ring.

They did bury him in a way but they put ALL OF THE EMPHASIS on him which definitely makes him the focal point of the entire show, which is a great thing for Bryan.

Then that is clearly not a burial in any sense of the word.

I'm watching NXT now, didn't get a chance to last night. This is probably obvious but what they seem to be doing is the whole Pro/Rookie with the commentary too. The way Matthews keeps asking Cole if he knows what different current things are and Cole makes fun of Matthews being on Twitter and such. I'm not sure I like the pairing but should be interesting.

Missed NXT last night. Someone want to give me a quick summary?

No in the sense that in his 2 weeks on NXT he lost both times then proceeded to get his ass beat for both weeks. That is what I meant by getting buried.

However then I went on to say he is the focal point of the whole show, so the losses and beatdowns don't really hurt him as a superstar.

I don't really like him, never did. I wont say that I hate him, though, I just think that he might be one of those guy who has to grow on me over time. It could also be that everyone acts like he is the greatest wrestler on earth yet he hasn't really done anything that would make me agree with that statement. It's a bit of a turn off when people overhype someone and they turn out kinda bland.

Hopefully, he's get a little more exciting for me but if were to be fired tomorrow, I wouldn't give a shit at this point and wouldn't think OMG WWE YOU ARE SO DUMB. Perhaps they would be stupid for doing it but I am just not personally impressed to a large degree yet.

Bryan Danielson is the reason i'm watching NXT. I still wish his mentor was William Regal for this show.

HBK should have been his pro, they mentioned how he was trained by HBK that would have been good. However in a big program like he is in with the Undertaker and possibly on the edge of retirement he wouldn't have been able to train him.

I don't see how he's getting buried for losing both his matches, nobody expects a rookie to come out for his first WWE match and beat the World Heavyweight Champion, they made Danielson put up a good fight and just lose in the end, a debuting rookie taking the champ to the limits and losing, BURIED. Then the week after he comes down with hurt ribs, they were actually hurt from his debut match too and he takes on the World Champs rookie and puts up another good fight before losing, then there's all the beatdowns on him by top WWE heels which brings shitloads of sympathy, that is not being buried.

The second episode of NXT wasn't as good imo, not bad but the first was better, I'll continue to watch just for Danielson and for CM Punk who has been awesome on NXT.

I believe WWE is trying to insult the indy fans by treating Danielson like crap. It also doesn't help that Triple H is pissed someone said Danielson is known as "the best wrestler in the world".

They've mentioned that Daniel has been wrestling on the indies for 10 years.

I'm amazed. Somehow you managed to whine about Triple H and his backstage pull and WWE bashing the indies all in one post. If you could somehow also stick in that statement a "We've Cena Nuff", you would have checked them all.

Seriously guys, this is a storyline. Daniel Bryan is the focal point of NXT, they are selling the show based on his storyline on The Miz, and guess what, the storyline is Miz thinking Daniel is not good enough and that he doesn't have to make it to the top. Guess what also? Daniel Bryan is getting over like this. He isnt getting buried. He's being set as the babyface against the world, against Michael Cole, against The Miz against everybody. It's really funny how people just complain because Bryan lost a match while being injured, but nobody stops and looks at it the other way around. Daniel Bryan is not the only damn rookie in there WWE is trying to get over, and Wade Barret got heat for that win.

1st Who said Trips is pissed at that statement, Do you have a source, I'm not having a dig or saying it's not true i just haven't seen or read anything like that ?

2ND i dont see him being treated like crap. In fact i think he is been used pretty well. He has had a pretty good first match with the world champ and was made to look good. His second match he was injured(legit+Kayfabe wise) but still had a good match just getting beat. Id say that's pretty good going for a rookie.
