"If you go to the Internet, there's always somebody saying 'this guy is the best wrestler in the world' ... But it's not about what they like. It's what the masses like. These guys they're talking about are wrestling in front of 50 people, not 20,000. And that's because the masses don't want to see them."

Triple H also said this in an interview. Danielson can't be the best wrestler in the world. You never hear his name mentioned along myself, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.

Oh, herro California!
I'm on the fence. I don't have anything against Danielson, er, Bryan, he seems competent in the ring and is surely going to get a huge boost by being the focus of NXT. He may be the next generation Rey Mysterio, if he manages to grow a personality during the length of the show.

On a different note, I know they've angled this for Bryan to be a huge babyface, but do you think that he could pull off a heel character? Would it have been easier for him to break into the WWE with a 'pissed off indy wrestler who has never been recognized by the big companies' type attitude?

I know. What are you trying to say? lol

I mean that if Daniel Bryan has been wrestling for 10 years, HBK definitely had time to train him. I don't think HBK has been in a feud w/ Taker and on the verge of retirement for 10 years. xD

^That was what I was thinking when I typed that yesterday. Now that I've reread your post, I see what you mean. He wouldn't have time to be a pro and stuff is what you meant, I get it now.

Ummm...how? Not trying to sound conflicting , but unless he hides behind a mask, says less then he says now, completely remakes his ring style to a lucha style and shrinks 5 inches and is the sole latino draw, I can't see any comparison.

WWE is just pissed because Danielson is better than the main eventers in the company.

^^^You've already said that once in this thread and ignored a request to substantiate your comment.

Just like when you posted...

"I believe WWE is trying to insult the indy fans by treating Danielson like crap. It also doesn't help that Triple H is pissed someone said Danielson is known as "the best wrestler in the world".

...It's unfounded smark bollocks, isn't it?

Rofl, the burial comments have already started.

Regardless of how much experience he's had in the indies, he's a FUCKING ROOKIE IN WWE. My God, how is that so hard to understand? He's getting beaten up by a HEEL Miz because Danielson is the ROOKIE, and it's a old mentor is teaching the ROOKIE RESPECT angle.

It hurts my head. It really, really does. This is up there with Christian was buried by having a competitive match with the WWE Champion.

The term 'smark' is so contradictory the majority of the time, eh?

Everyone knows my previous feelings on the guy. Since then he's grown on my a bit since I've watched more of his work in ROH. I no longer hate the guy, but still think he's a bit over rated. Still think the guy is extremely bland and one of the only reasons he's getting so much attention is because he's wedged in between Jericho and Miz. The burial comments are fucking ridiculous. The guy put on a decent match against CHRIS FUCKING JERICHO who is the WORLD CHAMPION! What more could you ask for in a debut match.

It's hilarious to see them throw phrases around.

Favourites include "draw", "technical wrestler" and "buried". They get me everytime.

Bryan Danielson is a smaller version of William Regal with aerial moves. That flying knee off the apron was badass. It made me think of Cactus Jack's elbow drop to the floor.

He's exactly like Regal, if Regal had ten times more talent in the ring then he does now, and could move quicker, and had a deeper move set, and actually excited the crowd.

Wait a minute, he's nothing like Regal at all, he's far better then Regal has ever been.

Had a chance to check out Danielson (I'll never conform to the WWE name) a year ago when Flair made his first appear for ROH. Danielson hit a springboard plancha into the third row two seats to the left of me. It was an amazing sight to see as a fan and made the guy even more badass then before. Here's to hoping he gets off this NXT shit and goes onto bigger and better things.

Hahahaha, all I did was tell the truth. If you honestly think Regal is on the same level or better then Danielson you haven't a clue what Danielson does in the ring.

I've seen a pretty reasonable amount of both guys in ring work. I'd put them on about the same level technically.

Also, Regal has far more natural charisma than Danielson could ever hope to have. He's always been able to draw great heat. The same cannot be said for Danielson at this juncture.
