It seems like every Wrestlemania nowadays leaves us wanting, Main reason for that is, outside of the one at 28, because all they do is give us the announced matches and everything else is kept basic and predictable (which is good when we want to see it). When was the last time they had a big on-the-fly stipulation change at any PPV event or random ass run-ins? (Well, the Royal Rumble... but that was leaked)

Still, while Triple H is known for all the times he shouldn't have won, he's 8-9 at Wrestlemania.

Keeping WM30 basic and predictable is the best thing they could do. I'll hate Hunter even more if he finds some bullshit way to get out of it. Imagine how happy fans will be if Bryan wins both matches cleanly, Wyatt goes over Cena, Taker & Brock put on a great match, and The Shield look like stars.

if DB goes over everyone cleanly tonight his clock is ticking before the fans grow as sick of him as I already have. You simply can't book the 5 foot 5 underdog that way and expect the audience to stay invested.

Yeah they will obviously have to tweak his gimmick. I'd argue that he has been more anti-authority than underdog in this angle (and that's one reason why it sucked because he doesn't have the personality), so I don't know what they'll do. I'm not expecting a long reign at all, but it will just be nice to see him carrying the belts for a few months.

That's the best case scenario. I've compared this hopefully upcoming title reign to the Austin Aries title reign in 2012 quite a bit, you all know why by now. *avoids Snow's trademark repetition*

Bryan's title reign can't last long because the biggest appeal to him is being the ultimate underdog, some people say he'll drop the belt at Summerslam but I don't see how he can even make it to there. I'm sure all the people who want Bryan to win on here (except maybe Adam) will be plenty pleased if he just makes it to Payback with the belt. (Then again, none of us are looking forward to him dropping the strap to Batista...)

And as mentioned in your other thread, Bryan winning here will shut us up. It's all been about his chase for the belt that's been derailed due to a bunch of dumb shit, and if he wins the belt then this "Bryan is the only guy that matters" attitude among the fans will disappear after time (more Cesaro love?). There will still be Bryan marking but not like it is now, and at least it'll be something you'll tolerate like you did for the past year.

I love how "No DQ" has become code for "I can't just go out and put on a good match anymore"

Would lol if Triple H makes it a submission match, giving Bryan the edge. Would be the ultimate TNA authority figure move.
Curious as to what you thought of the opener, since you are one of the ASSHOLES (jk <3) I had in mind who were completely burying HHH's in ring ability leading into this match.

for the record, I still think DB vs HHH (c) should have closed the show. Much better than what we wound up with.

Well, for me it was the best match of the night, plain and simple. DB went over clean and HHH wasn't involved in anything else. Sad for me as a mark, but the story had the finish it was supposed to, so good.

HHH showed why he is still the man. He basically stole the show with his sick ass entrance + displaying he has basically not lost a fucking beat in the ring at age 45. I thought the story could have been better in the match, but from a technical perspective HHH was hanging in with Dick Butt move for move.

Yeah, HHH can still go 100%. He doesn't show his age in the ring nearly as much as others. I marked so hard for the entrance, was great, and indeed the match wasn't as slow paced as some thought it would be, it was great. I'm not even saying this just because I'm a fan of the guy but HHH should do more in ring stuff this year.

Definitely. Maybe since The Shield took out his henchman they can start going after he and Steph?? Leading to a Reigns/HHH match????

Sounds great, HHH can then finally turn the dude into the main eventer he's gonna be, and it's gonna be great to watch. Also, if Steph dresses like that again in future Hunter matches they will also have another plus.

Technically, I wasn't as high on it as some people. Couldn't get into much of the match, but the parts I could get into were dramatic as hell. Triple H is still up there when it comes to top in-ring storytellers.

oh god I just thought of something. If HHH is going to wrestle more, it will probably be against.... Batista :eww:

Since Batista was pointing out how HHH had never beat him. HHH points out how pissed he is that Dave tapped to pussy boy Dick Butt, Batista shoves him or something, they fight at ER.
