WAR April 27th Preview - Under New Management?

Lucky for us, the CWF board of directors have their head on a swivel! A show day change, legal proceedings against certain members of management and a lot of organisation means we can bring you the re-birth of CWF LIVE on Wednesday, April 27th and it's coming bigger and better than ever!

On this weeks show we have a MAJOR management announcement. Word coming from the network and the board of directors is that the CEO has personally approached an investor and he, or she, will introduce themselves to the CWF fans at the start of the show! They've been instructed to remove the confusion surrounding who's in charge and who holds the gold in CWF!


Special 10 minute 1st Class Trial matches!

- Christian vs JBL
- The Miz vs Finlay

That's right, a ten minute time limit and 'trial' match rules indicate some big things in these guys future! We've been promised that the winners and movers and shakers from these matches will be rewarded in kind so the four men chosen to participate had better have their A game ready for 8 days time!

- Samoa Joe vs Cody Rhodes

At times, before the tumultuous management scenario that left CWF on its knees, Cody had the sympathy of the CWF crowd but it rarely lasted long. This upstart has some MORE than impressive performances under his belt but he has an exceptionally tough re-debut versus a new signing in Samoa Joe. He's an unknown entity in CWF but we know enough from his other work in our great industry that he'll pose Rhodes a question on any given night.

- Triple H vs...Shark Boy?!

You bet, the Game, Triple H, the King of Kings will be going one on one with a parody artist. Look past Shark Boy and you do so at your own peril however because his antics have zero bearing on his ability when he gets down to it. A lot will favour Triple H, rightly given his history, but this article author has money on the outside bet Shark Boy.

Intercontinental Championship!

- John Cena vs Randy Orton vs The Undertaker vs Kane


You've read that correctly! Did the board want a hook for show 1? You bet. Did Wade Barrett, our former champ, jump ship at the first sign of company trouble? You bet. What better way than this to restore pride to that title and ensure we have at least one champion representative on the WAR brand. Four of the BIGGEST names in the history of our business do battle in a fatal four way match for the Intercontinental gold!


As if that's not enough, we'll hear from the Rock who has the opportunity this week to speak to the CWF universe about his plans. We'll also hear from any other superstar who wishes to grab some mic time to explain their feelings regarding the recent trouble in CWF! You can expect to hear from Triple H about his plans to rise to the top of Wednesday Night War and the title ladder! We'll also grab some time with Christian regarding his attitude after the no-showing of Eric Bischoff and his cohort over recent weeks and how he can now refocus on other things like winning some gold!

WAR May 6th Preview: Keep The Ball Rolling...

My head will roll for this. Apologies to all CWF faithful. This has been booked for DAYS but because I had left for a couple days due to work and I mis-read something when I came back this was never posted in the correct section (i.e. not just in Staff). I can't apologise more. This weeks show goes Friday, next weeks Thursday, the last before PPV back to Wednesday and then so on.

WAR May 12th Preview: We're all set...

Last week, our two title matches were set for pay-per-view but there seemed to be much more on the minds of some of our superstars. Plenty had things to say and there were even some new faces around the backstage area! This week, the wheels that were set begin to go in motion...

Cody Rhodes vs Finlay

Last week Cody demanded more recognition. Vince decreed that he'd face the #1 contendership match loser and that turned out to be a valiant and battle hardened Finlay. Vince want's fit Finlay to brush himself down and come back stronger than ever because if he wins, Rhodes is out on his ear!

Robert Roode vs Chris Jericho

Jericho was CONVINCING in his victory last week but this week he has a one on one challenge where the games and tricks are going to be kept in check my James Storm at ringside with Robert Roode. It's Roode's debut and Jericho already has a title shot so how will this match change the CWF landscape?

The Miz vs Shark Boy

The Miz made what he thinks was an 'awesome' statement last week. The world saw that he was just a jerk though. This week Shark Boy gets to seek revenge on the Miz as the 'awesome one' looks to continue a roll of momentum.

Dolph Ziggler vs Cena

Championship opponents at Vengeance get to scout each other this week as they go one on one without their triple threat partner to get the same privilege. Dolph is a rising star, Cena has brutish strength, what's going to give? Something one can hope...

Undertaker & Kingston vs Randy Orton & JBL

A quiet week for two injured men, a loss for the newly signed Kofi and a no-show from the Texan millionaire JBL means that this weeks tag-team bout could be somewhat a 'last chance' saloon for these guys to make it to pay-per-view and get into the owners good books!

Peep Show! (feat Rock and Del Rio)

Christian hosts his Peep Show segment for the peeps worldwide and his guests are Worlds Champion Alberto Del Rio and fellow #1 contender, the great one, the Rock! What will these men have to say to each other this week? Can this one NOT end up getting physical after Del Rio's attack on Christian last week?

We will also hear from:

CM Punk on his new contract and imminent arrival and intentions!

Finlay on his loss this past week and his plans going forward after such a close call against Christian. Is the world title still well in his sights? What is he willing to do to make it?
