With the Intercontinental Championship set to be defended at Cyber Sunday next weekend, the competition for the title has thinned as Alberto Del Rio has decided to part ways with the company. He has been replaced in the match by The Miz, who has to consider this as a huge opportunity to cause a big upset. With Randy Orton also no longer in the match, altering it to a Triple Threat, what can we expect from the 3 remaining competitors?

SoccerBoy has dropped The Miz. awesome miz swaps to The Miz.

The legendary, and often controversial, Scott Hall has been released from his contract for refusing to go to rehab. On a lighter note, a new signing has arrived to Championship Wrestling Federation to replace him, with R-Truth signing a contract as of this afternoon. What can we expect in the future from this disturbed man?

Bully D has swapped to R-Truth.

In a first time appearance in the Championship Wrestling Federation, none other than Steve Corino has signed the dotted line, accompanied by the now ex-War General Manager, Jim Cornette. What can we expect from this unique combination?

Uprising Announcement!

Straight from the desk of Sting, the recently announced Nitro General Manager, come two championship matches that have been added to the Uprising card!

After the brawl involving the Big Bossman, CM Punk, Muhammad Hassan, The Miz and the Undertaker, Sting has decided to take advantage and make a match for the CWF Intercontinental Championship. Punk and 'Taker have an unrelated match at Uprising, leaving the three remaining men to fight it out for the title. Therefore, at Uprising, it will be The Miz (c) vs. Big Bossman vs. Muhammad Hassan.

Also, since Nitro went off the air, Sting took the time to review the CWF Hardcore Championship match in closer detail. Thoroughly impressed with the performances of some of CWF's newest superstars, the General Manager has decided that we will see this match one more time, but on a bigger stage. To signify the "Uprising" of the new era of talent coursing throughout the CWF ranks, the match will be contested in a Ladder match, where the Hardcore Championship will hang above the ring.

To summarise this blockbuster announcement, the two new matches are as follows:

CWF Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (c) vs. Big Bossman vs. Muhammad Hassan

CWF Hardcore Championship: Ladder - Triple H (c) vs. Austin Aries vs. R-Truth vs. Zack Ryder

Remember, Uprising will take place on the 18th of December, so make sure you tune in!

Big news coming from CWF Management in regards to two already announced Uprising matches.

To begin, the Rated-R Superstar, Edge, has been struck down with an injury, meaning he will be unable to compete in the #1 Contender's match against Sheamus. Fortunately, Edge's period of absence will not be an extended one, with the CWF medical team declaring he will be out for around 3 weeks at the very most.

In disappointing news for the company, CM Punk has been released from his contract, at the request of the currently unknown CWF Chairman. When asked for the reasoning behind the release, Nitro General Manager, Sting, chose to only wish Punk the best in his future endeavours. Due to the release, the No Holds Barred match scheduled between CM Punk and Undertaker will not take place.

But, on a lighter note, the unknown CWF Chairman has once again stamped his authority on the company, deciding that both matches will not be scrapped from the pay-per-view completely. The Chairman has decided that the #1 Contender's match will still take place at Uprising, and it will be Sheamus taking on the Undertaker!

Due to severe knee damage sustained at the hands of CM Punk this past Monday Night Nitro, the Big Show has decided to leave the company for an unknown amount of time to heel the injury. We wish Big Show the best in his future endeavours.

Prodigy has been cut for inactivity.
