Extreme Rules: Inferno Match: Kane vs. HHH

The scene opens with Kane, seemingly near fire as the sound of flame crackling is heard and the Big Red Monster is illuminated by a light.

Kane: Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Once again you find yourself standing at the doorstep of destruction, unwillingly this time, and with someone else knocking on the door for you. Well the door's not closed for anyone to knock on any longer, Hunter, it's wide open in invitation. Here I stand on the other side of the threshold with a grim smile on my face. You can't see it, but I can't keep the joy from my expression, I get the chance to terminate another of your kind. Because you see Hunter, you, much like Randy Orton, have spent nearly your entire career at the top of the food chain, while guys like me took a backseat. Well I'm not content with that anymore, that's why it's a new playground in CWF and a new set of rules, rules created by yours truly because what I forewarned is very real, you are living in the Era of Kane.

You have no backstage pull, you have no stroke, instead of being a politician you're just another earthworm in the garden that Vince built. It's almost sad to see your father-in-law turn his back on you, and I say almost because, well, I enjoy the way the cards have been dealt. At Extreme Rules I make Hunter the hunted, I win The Game, I dethrone the King of Kings, I assassinate the Cerebral Assassin. But not in any regular extreme environment. There will be no tables, no ladders, no chairs, no thumb tacks or barbed wire, no shards of broken glass, nothing but what truly makes me feel at home, fire! THAT'S RIGHT HUNTER, YOU FACE ME...IN AN INFERNO MATCH!

I will bring you into the middle of this ring and I will make an example out of you for all the pathetic souls that are just like you that may follow. I will tear muscles, I will break bones, I will SNAP tendons. You will sweat, you will cry, you will bleed, and you will burn. THEN, THEN, you will FEEL...MY...PAIN! But you won't require a mask when it's all said and done, only an urn, because at Extreme Rules, you will be nothing but ashes.

Kane breaks out into his trademark laughter as the camera pans to the arena but not to the ring, in fact pans to the backstage area, more specifically into The McMahon-Helmsley Lockeroom. The camera show Steph and Hunter sitting on a couch, looking towards the tv which just showed Kane. Steph and Hunter look at each other with a disgusted look on their face.

Triple H: Is that big red freak serious? Steph, please tell me this but who the hell does he think he is? Throwing threats and promises around that are as empty as his thick head. That big red moron must not know who I am, I am The Game Triple H, I am a former 13 time world champion while he can only be called a 1 time champion as I'm not going to count that 1 day reign and he thinks that I'm scared of him? I'll admit, there once was a time I was scared of him, I thought deep down inside that he could do damage, that the Big Red Machine could control fire with his mind, he could squash throats with his bare hands but those days are long over, I came to learn that there was nothing to fear and you know why? It's because I learnt how to get inside your head Kane, I learnt the secret to unlock the monsters brain and play with it, it didn't take me long as mt brains are 10 times the size of the whole of Kane. Just think back to the old days Kane, everything that has had a massive effect on you in the past, I have been right in the thick of things, can you remember that far back Kane?

You have been on top of the world every single time you have come face to face with me Kane but I always seem to make that world of yours a living hell, do you remember you one true love Kane? Your one true petal on the rose, the one true angel dropped from heaven, I certainly do because it was I that decided to take her away from you. I saw the way you stroked her hair, i saw the way you put her make up on, I saw the way you carried her around whenever she was hurt. I am of course talking about Tori Kane. You remember her? I hope you do because she certainly doesn't remember you as anything but a loser. It was my idea for X-Pac to take her away from you, I saw the effect on you it had Kane. You felt like you lost an organ didn't you? You missed stroking and combing her hair, you missed the way she kissed you boo boos better and it tore you apart Kane but that isn't the only thing that I took from you, was it? There was once a time people saw your smile, people saw the joy you took from tormenting them, there was once a time where you walked down the street and people knew who you were, asking for autographs and photos with the big monster, but I'm glad to see you decided to hide your face once again Kane. I'm glad you decided to put that mask back on after I ripped it from your face. It shows you that you hide behind that mask because your afraid of what others see when they look at you, your afraid that they will see through you and into your soul, you hope that the mask hides you from the pain of the world don't you Kane? The pain that consumed you at a very young age when you got burnt by your stupidity.

Triple H looks towards the camera pointing to his head as Steph smirks and takes over.

Steph: It's funny my husband says that because it's the exact same thing that will happen at Extreme Rules, you think my husband is scared of you Kane, of the things you will do towards him just because you destroyed a man from Hunter's past? We saw what you did to Randy Orton, I feel sorry for him as he definatly felt your full power Kane and I have to admit, Randy is a bad man that will do anything to get what he wants, I have learnt that from experiance with a DDT but realise this, Triple H and Randy Orton aren't the same, you say Randy spent his life at the top of the food chain all his life but that's not correct. Randy was only at the top when my husband let him be there, Randy was only at the top because he learnt everything he knew from Triple H, what a great teacher to have but Triple H is to smart to of taught Randy everything Triple H knows. Randy is even in the same league as Triple H's big toe so don't think that because you had it easy against Randy that it will be the same for my husband.

Triple H: You know what Kane, none of this really matters, we can talk all we want about the past, the present, the future but none of it matters because only one date will matter, one match will matter and it's a match that is built on running away from the flames, you know all about this don't you Kane? You know what, I think it's getting a bit stuffy inside here Steph, I think I wanna go out there and meet the Big Red Freak and show him that I ain't scared of him so Kane, how about you show me your not that smart and make your way down to that ring, I gurantee that Steph and I will follow you and will talk about this face to face.

The camera zooms in on the face of the Game, filled with intensity as he looks like he means business. Suddenly the camera zooms back to the arena as something happens.....​

Sheamus’s theme hits the PA System as Sheamus himselve is standing under the titantron and walks down the ramp. In the middle of the ramp he starts to scream loudly and hitting his chest as a sign of his force. The crowd boos loudly as Sheamus goes down near the ring, he goes up the steel steps, looks at the booing crowd and enters the ring over the second rope. Then he goes in the middle of the ring and again screaming and hitting his chest. Then he goes to the side of the ring, that is near commentary tables and asks for microphone. As he gets it, he goes back to the middle and starts to talk with his Irish accent ...

So tonight is the night when I'm goin' to win my fi'st title? Ya bette' chee' a bit mo'e, because yer futu'e Inte'continental champion arrived. No, it's not a prediction it's a su'e thing. This match can't go othe' way than this. So I've got to face Chris Jericho, to win his title? Well, that's just an exce'cise fo' me, everyone in this arena knows that Chris Jericho is not a challenge. He was beaten in the past and he's going to be beaten once again afte' ou' match. That Y2J, how ya idiots call him is not a real champion, he doesn't behave as a champion and he doesn't dese've to be a champion. It's some kind of an er'o' in the chain, that he's champion. Sheamus sarcastically smiles right into the camera, but then continues ...

Sheamus looks on in disbelief as the entire stadium goes black, with sudden blue lights shining and the titantron comes alive, with the crowd going alongside with the countdown.

The crowd explodes as fireworks shoot off from each orifice on the stage and ramp as the countdown reaches 0. The good people of London, England are on their feet, cheering on the hero from the great white north, and we don't mean Manhasset, New York, jackasses, we mean Canada. He stands on the stage, stretching his arms and flexing them for everyone to see.

He turns around and wastes no time, hurrying down the ramp and giving his jacket to some lady, who sniffs it for some reason. Jericho unstraps the title and places it over his shoulder, before looking back at the crazy lady.

He shrugs and puts it back round his waist in order that he may climb the steel steps and do his usual emote of pretending to step into the ring, but pumping his fist at the ring. He's been doing that before you even got into wrestling, and yes, I'm looking at you, Ryder. Jericho climbs in the ring and jumps on the turnbuckle, stretching his arms out and flexing them and letting out a scream as he beats his chest.

He steps back down and gets a microphone to the ring technician and goes face to face with sheamus with a big cheesy smile on his face, waving at him even though they're about a foot apart.

Jericho:Hi there. I'm Chris, I don't think we've met before. I mean, obviously I've seen you, although I couldn't do that anymore for a whole week, you shone off the light and blinded my eyes. And now you think I'm going to insult your skin pigmentation and call you a human jar of mayonnaise. But I'm not going to do that, because one. You have no skin pigmentation. And two, that's Cena's joke, and as we all know, I proved at Vengeance that I'm better than Cena. But one thing I wanna know Sheamus. What. The. HELL! Did you just say before I got out here, I could not understand a word, it was like watching the love child of the flowerpot men and Beeker from the muppets attempt to make some sort of communication. Someone get me a translator, a guy who speaks irish, hell, get me Ricardo Rodriguez, he'll be easier to understand and he's a bigger challenge.

Jericho smiles some more, and paces side to side in front of Sheamus. The Irish Curse thinks this is cue to talk, how imprudent of him, and Jericho cuts him off.[/CENTER

Jericho:NO! You will do something all these londoners have been waiting on you to do, and that is SHUT THE HELL UP! Jericho raises the prize above his head to display its beauty, and the Londoners react appropriately with a gallon of cheers directed towards Y2J and his shiny gold friend. But right then, Jericho looks straight back at Sheamus with a serious look in his eye.

But then of course, he goes back to regular cheesy Jericho smile. He stares right at Sheamus, and walks up and gets right in his face. He stares a hole right through the head of Sheamus, although that's near impossible with such horrible conflicting colours as white and orange involved. He looks as though he's about to speak again, but Sheamus cuts him off at the pass.​

Sheamus suddenly interrupts Jericho when he puts the microphone back near his lips ...

Well, fi'st of all I would like to say, that I was expecting longe' speech from ya Chris. But I knew, that ya will sayin' just a crap. By the way, I don't ca'e who ya a'e o' what have you done to this moment. I don't know, why do ya think, that yer funny, yer just a clown and nothin' mo'e. And don't make fun of my language, because the only thing, that is goin' to be funny, will be your face. It doesn't change the matte' of fact, that these people doesn't like me and they neithe' like ya. But I am still the bette' man in this ring. I have absolutely no idea, why a'e ya talkin' about Ricardo Rodriguez, because he's none of our business. Jericho turns around and points as the entire O2 arena, and Sheamus, looks intently before an image pops up.

Jericho chuckles to himself, as Sheamus is absolutely livid. He seems to be almost RED with anger, hoho. As if he would turn any other colour.

I'll tell you 4 things Sheamus, they're very important so listen. 1. Your ugly, 2. You're stupid, 3. You have no friends, and 4. YOU HAVE N CHANCE. Do you know why, candle-coloured friend of mine? Zack now step on the apron and steps into the ring and he gets the microphone near to his mouth....

I hear voices in my head, they told to me, that I´m the champ, that I´m the champ ! You heard right Randall, I hear voices as well ! I hear voices of thousands of broskis here in Great Britain, that want nothing else, than to see me at the end of our match as a new, number one contender for Intercontinental championship and of course future, Intercontinental champion, me, ZACK RYDER !

The crowd bolts to their feet as “The People's Championâ€￾ The CWF World Heavyweight Champion The Rock emerges from the back. He has an intense look on his face as he heads towards the ring.

He walks down to the ring with his title belt in hand. As he climbs into the ring, he is handed a microphone from a ringside employee. He then puts his belt on the ground by his feet before beginning.

The Rock: The Rock is going to skip all the pageantry's and get right down to brass tax here tonight. You see, last week on WAR, The Rock and Chris Jericho teamed up to face Sheamus and Christian. And The Rock and Chris Jericho, we were whoopin' ass all over Munich, Germany but.....something happened. Christian, you took The Rock's championship belt, and drove The Rock's head right on it. What you did, Christian, was severely pissed The Rock off so The Rock is making it his mission to whoop your monkey ass all over London and you can bet your ass that The Rock will do exactly that!


The crowd is really getting into The Rock's rant. He then turns his attention towards John Cena.


The Rock: Another person on The Rock's hit-list is John Cena. Doctor of Thuganomics. You come out here and do your little rap thing. Well, The Rock doesn't care if you think you're Busta Rhymes because The Rock will be bustin' that ass all night long! You came out to try and take advantage of The Rock so The Rock says this, you say You Can't See Me...


The Rock imitates Cena's “You Can't See Meâ€￾ taunt.

The Rock: You say The Rock can't see you so you better pray to the heavens above that The Rock doesn't see you at Extreme Rules because The Rock will slap that goofy-looking smile right off your face!


The Rock is stomping around the ring at this point as he gets riled up talking about his opponents.


The Rock: And last but not least, Finlay. Finlay, you came down to The Rock's aid last week on WAR and The Rock appreciates what you did. He really does. But, make no mistake about it Finlay, The Rock knows where your allegiance lies, and that's ok because The Rock likes it that way. Finlay, you say you love to fight so The Rock says this: The Rock says you bring your little Shillelagh down to the ring and The Rock is gonna do something special with it.


The crowd pops loud in anticipation of what The Rock is about to say.


The Rock: The Rock is gonna take that Shillelagh of yours, shine it up real nice, turn that sum bitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass! Finlay, John Cena, and especially you Christian, The Rock damn sure hopes the 3 of you are ready to experience what it's like to step into the ring with The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment and The Rock guaran-damn-tees that The Rock is walking into Extreme Rules as CWF Champion and The Rock is walking out of Extreme Rules as CWF Champion.


He then leans back and start to say his famous catchphrase.

The Rock: IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLL-LALALALALALALALALALALOW! WHAT THE ROCK..........IS COOKIN?!


He then lowers his microphone. Just then he is interrupted by....

I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD!!!

The fans break into a loud cheer. The Legend Killer Randy Orton walks out from the back in street cloths. He looks into the ring, and stares for a few seconds, emotionless into Zack Ryder. He then decides to slowly walk down the ramp to him.

He makes his way to the ring, and slowly climbs the steps, and enters the ring. He measures Zack up, before grabbing the mic out of a stage hands hand. He looks at Ryder again, then out to the sea of people cheering him on.

Randy Orton: Zack Ryder...you truly are a piece of work. A character. Someone living in a fantasy world, completely out of his mind. But listen here kid, I got some respect for you. You know what you want, and you go and get it. You don't sit around, play games, and wait for it to fall in your lap. You fight for it. I've got to give you that. But the problem is with you, and the many others like you, is that you still have no idea what you're doing, or even talking about for that matter. Now, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being young, and arrogant, but you need to back it up. And when you're facing the Legend Killer, thats a hard, damn near impossible thing to do. You have your work cut out for you kid. Because I don't care how many people I have to take down, or face, I'll end up on top....every...single...time.

The sea of people cheer on Orton. He takes a moment to ponder, then goes on.

Randy Orton: Then that leaves me with The Miz. Another person who had no business to be here, and was told he could never make it, yet he went out there and did it, and look at him now. Yes Miz, we've all heard the story. But a new story we'll be hearing is how at Extreme Rules you got put back in your place with a Punt from The Legend Killer, Randy Orton! I've seen people like you before in my life. Hell, I used to be one of them. But it's put up or shut up time. And right now, you're the only one I see thats not out here yet. You're starting to make me wonder if Zack Ryder is better then you as well.

Orton looks out into the crowd of cheering people now to finish.

Randy Orton: The Intercontinental title isn't something I'm not familiar with. I know what it takes to be a champion, and what it means to be a champion. You two kids still need to figure that out. And until you can, then I'll beat you week in, and week out, holding the gold high above my head. Take a look a greatness, and what you hope you'll one day be able to see. It's not arrogance, it's destiny.

"Call me a Doctor" blares through the arena and can hardly be hard, what with all the boos for John Cena, one of The Rocks threats to the CWF Championship belt. Cena looks at the thirty thousand strong booing him in London, England.

John Cena walks down to the ring, and The Rock stares the former Intercontinental Champion down as Cena walks straight past him and lifts his arms up in the air, lapping up the heat he is given. Cena takes a mic from one of the workers by the side of the ring, and firstly addresses the crowd.

I had.... a really good rap prepared, to come out here and spit for you.... but listening to this idiot ramble on about fake nothings that will happen in the future has made me change my mind, and the way you load of ass-lickers just lap every word he says up, I figured that I would give that a go.. so yo...check it out.

FINALLY......

The Rock goes to interrupt Cena as the crowd boo, but Cena lifts his hand up, quietening The Peoples Champion.

Finally... The Doctor of Thuganomics John Cena.... has..... A CWF Title Shot!

What, you lot thought I was gonna say anything about this hell-hole?! Get real! More important matters lie here than the fact I am in the city that has tried for sixty five years to become New York.... and badly.... badly.... failed! But back to the matter in hand. Finally, John Cena gets exactly what he has been looking for since day one. Notice, the third person I'm speaking in like you Rock, not bad eh? John Cena has been given the Intercontinental Championship which I was grateful of having, but only for one reason. And that is Rock, when I whip your "candy ass" all over this ring and I lift the CWF Title up in the air, it will be my second title... and you will be only on one, leaving John Cena as the most successful Champ in CWF history. And in that way.... you definately Can't See Me!

I've been watching what you have done since you won the title Rock, and that is absolutely nothing. And even before you never impressed me. Alberto Del Rio and Christian are not people I am going to watch you beat, and make me sit up in my armchair and applause your ass, oh no! If it was John Cena taking those two on then it would have been the same result, only not as close to call. And I can prove that Rock, at least prove that with Christian anyway. The only thing I don't understand is why he is even in this match. I mean, I was waiting for my opportunity and I surely got it.... Finley... hah, I can't even mention his name without laughing... but he earned it by beating uhh...... umm.... I don't remember. But Christian. Christian stepped up, and got slapped back by a poor poor champion, not to mention I beat him in a tag match, so he should be sent to the back of the queue.

But if its three people I have to put in the STFU, then so be it. I have no quarms in taking out The Brahma Bull-shitter, the Rubbish Brawler, from Rubbish Belfast, and the Creepy Little Bastard himself to take what is, and has been mine all this. And that is that... CWF Championship Rocky..... Now you better hope you can smell that Rock.... you need some sort of sense to work... because You... Cant.... See... Me!

Christian's theme song 'Just Close Your Eyes' hits the arena... The crowd erupts in boo's with only a few cheers heard. Christian glares at those who have cheered, ignores them and walks down the entrance ramp. He then steps up onto the steel steps before entering the ring as he is given a microphone.

Christian;

How ya feeling Rocky? Isn't it nice to join the party you've got going on here tonight? Or do you seem to be forgetting what happened on WAR? After all this time... FINALLY, Christian has defeated The Rock. I did what I said I would do but you Rocky... you kept under-estimating me just like all these ex-'peeps', nobody believed in me anymore. For the past seventeen years, I've had people believing I could do something that I've yet to succumb here in CWF. All these years, the moments I wanted to seize, the spotlight, the championships... you took them right under my nose Rocky. It wasn't until last Monday, I finally believed in myself once again... I did something that was deemed impossible, I beat you in the middle of the ring, pinned you 1, 2, 3! It doesn't matter how I did it Rocky, I got the job done and that makes me the legitimate threat right now, so Rocky... I'm going to show all these morons exactly why when I win this Championship, it will be for ME and not for ANYBODY ELSE! I've leeched off the audience, thinking they believed me but this entire time I was wrong, they didn't care about me... they cared about a person who I thought was a true friend... that person is EDGE.

The crowd begins an Edge chant... Christian interrupts.

Oh Edge, he was so good to you peeps wasn't he... Enough about him! I don't care about Edge, I don't care about you 'peeps', I only care about myself and what I need to do to ensure that I walk away with the CWF Heavyweight Title on the 26th. Do you really think I'm fazed by you Rocky? The fact Edge had all the spotlight just like you all these long seventeen years? I've had nothing, I was just a follower... I was that black sheep trying to fit in with the flock, I was the outsider... IT ISN'T HAPPENING NO MORE, This is a moment that everyone needs to resemble on, a moment everyone will never forget and the words speak for themselves 'Christian, your new CWF Heavyweight Champion'!

Cena goes to interrupt but Christian stops him.

Funny thing there Cena, Finlay might have defeated me but for quite some time I've been around the Main Event Scene and you Cena.. you've been contending with the lower leagues and now you've stepped your game up and joined the big boys. Welcome to the 'Main Event Scene' Cena, I hope you enjoy your stay while you're at it. I don't care about Finlay, the little Irishmen is not a threat to me at all... we all know that Extreme Rules is held in London, the atmosphere for him... He will most likely feel at home and get drunk over a glass of Guinness... What is his odds of turning up? Quite slim if you ask me John, I wouldn't worry too much... Worry about me why don't you? This championship is something you want isn't it? For one... you've already experienced having a Championship belt here in CWF, whereas... I have yet to accomplish that very mission. The time isn't now Cena, all this... this is MY TIME, MY MOMENT, not yours... not Rocky and definitely not Finlay's. So John, if I was you, I'd head back of the line because you're not getting this opportunity. You see, if Rocky retains... I will no longer be able to go for a title shot, this is the one moment I cannot let go of. No matter how hard it is for me when I see opportunity I will seize it, I'm not going to let The Rock steal it away from me at all, I'm not going to let these 'peeps' distract me, steal the spotlight I want the most!

Christian is looking furious, he paces around the ring, the crowd boo's as Christian takes his jacket off.

Come Sunday 26th June, Extreme Rules is going to be the very moment where I seize that one opportunity. That opportunity I have been chasing for a very long time, my first Heavyweight Championship was taken away in just five days. A promise has been made upon myself, once I get that Championship.... I will hold it for a damn long time because I am worthy of being a Champion. There is nobody on the roster that will prevail me from doing so, I don't care if I have to hit you with a 'Spear', a 'Killswitch' or even make one of you tap out. This is a Falls Count Anywhere, if I pin you in a 'bar', the 'Queen's bedroom', the 'London Eye'... IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE I PIN YOU, I WILL GET THIS JOB DONE...

As Christian goes to finish, a spotlight goes over Christian... the rest of the arena is dark.

I will become... your new CWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
