Speaking of DFS been watching Carell in much finer form in the brilliant US vision of the Office, tonight was watching the double episode from season three sales calls/The Return, fourty minutes of comedy gold! Also started watching series six a few weeks ago, things are picking up, the twist of Michael starting his own paper company and Pam leaving with him should set up some intertesting viewing in the weeks to come.
Also started watching Big Love, so far it is really good, surreal and blackly comical, a bit in the mold of something like Six Feet Under, and the cast is very strong.
At the cinema the last film I saw was Peter Mullan's second film as director Neds, which I found very powerful, hallowing, gritty, but sylish with good acting and a script which stayed true to the story, impressive.
