I go to as many local gigs as I can, although my mates and I aren't as into going as we were this time last year. I guess the novelty has worn off a little as we used to go to any gig that appeared, but now the line up must be decent to convince us.

The band I've seen the most is another local band called Hand Of Mercy, and I've seen them 11 times. If you've heard of Sienna Skies then I'm sure you've heard of HOM.

Yeah i am in the same boat as you. I am pretty good friends with Matt the synth player they are a good bunch of blokes. Check out my mates band there called Hide Your Hopes bit of a New Found Glory sound really good.

I am not normally a big indy music fan but this song has dragged me in. Gotye is an Australian musician that has been around for some time but this is his first real mainstream hit and it hit number one in the charts today. Really addicted to this song. His voice, especially in the chorus, reminds me so much of Sting. Imaginative clip as well.
