They weren't called The Dudebusters when they were on Smackdown, they were just known as Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta. We labeled them The Dudebusters because we knew they were called that in FCW while they were also with Hawkins, but the WWE never called them it.

You're the one who's not thinking straight my friend. They we're called the Dudebuster while on Smackdown.

Referenced as the Dudebusters. They we're the Dudebusters on Smackdown. You can even search them on WWE.COM and they called them the Dudebusters.

How am I not thinking straight? When they'd come out to the ring for a match, it'd come up down the bottom "Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft" or vice versa. They can call themselves The Dudebusters all they like, so can the commentators, but what I said was the WWE as a whole never refered to them as The Dudebusters. Even check Barreta's WWE.com profile, it just says he debuted alongside Caylen Croft, nothing about them being called The Dudebusters.

I already knew they've been referenced as The Dudebusters, even on WWE.com as you said, but they weren't actually listed is all I meant.

The Dude Busters were a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft (and were at one point a trio with Curt Hawkins) that appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Ryder & Curt Hawkins were once called Major Brothers.

When I heard this news I was so happy. Everyone knows that I am a big tag team wrestling fan and I have wanted WWE to revive the division for many years now. A strong tag team division wouldn't be hard to create and WWE have wasted so many good teams in recent years because they haven't created a strong division for them to work around. Too often WWE will split a tag team way too soon like Hard Dynasty and Cryme Tyme because they have feuded with the one other tag team on their brand.

Kings of Wrestling is a great start to rebuilding the division and I am sure they will start once they have fulfilled their previous indy dates. If WWE can get Beer Money that would be huge. They have been one of the best tag teams in recent years and they may be tempted by the bigger opportunities and bigger paychecks in WWE. I doubt WWE would even consider the Briscoes, they just don't wrestle a WWE friendly style. If they are looking to sign more proper teams then they should look at signing The Young Bucks (known as Generation Me in TNA), they are a good tag team and I am sure WWE will be able to make them huge stars like they did with the Hardy's.

They could then promote Hunico & Epico from FCW. Put together Hawkins/Ryder or Hawkins/Baretta or the three of them together using the FreeBird rule as mentioned above. There are plenty of other wrestlers that could be paired together to form tag teams. Maybe have teams like McIntyre/Swagger, Bourne/Primo(as a face), Jinder Mahal/Khali, etc.

They should aim for four teams per brand to have a proper division but three per brand would be the absolute minimum. I was watching WWE Vintage Collection the other day and the first match was from SummerSlam 99. It was a tag team tormoil match and it featured Edge & Christian, Hardy's, Mideon & Viscera, Droz & Albert, APA and the Holly Cousins plus at the time the champions were Kane & Xpac. It just shows you that each team doesn't have to be a top tag team and that you can put a few midcarders together to form tag teams to help pad out the division.

Hopefully by year's end a few more tag teams will be on WWE television regularly building to a huge multi team tag team match at WM28.

Totally with Troy on this, A tag team division is not that hard to build and they have the start of one already in their hands. It gets more guys TV time and provides more exciting matches. As much as I love them Beer Money is getting a bit stale in TNA so a move to WWE would work in their favor. They have nothing else to accomplish in TNA. KOW could be the focal point if not, they are that good.

One thing that I think would keep Beer Money in TNA is if they were both given proper singles runs. TNA have hinted at it before but are yet to give them a chance to see how far they can go as singles stars. If WWE manage to get KOW and Beer Money that would be huge for the division and would be a clear indication that they want to start building that division again.

The Uso's, Otunga & McGillicutty, Jinder Mahal/Khali, Ryder & Hawkins/Hawkins & Baretta, Santino & Anyone, McIntyre & Swagger, Hunico & Epico. There are so many options available for teams if WWE spent some time pairing them together.

The way I would start rebuilding the division is announcing a tournament to determine the number one contenders to the tag team titles. Announce that there are eight spots and use that to create and debut new teams.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS

pwinsider said:
Nick and Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks (aka former TNA stars Generation Me) were among those who received a tryout yesterday prior to Raw in Los Angeles. The duo worked matches for WWE Producers yesterday afternoon.

As we broke last week in the PWInsider Elite section, WWE is seeking tag teams to bolster their tag division.
Fantastic news that they had a tryout. WWE should sign them right away to bolster the tag team division. This does show that WWE are starting to at least think about rebuilding the tag team division.

Hopefully they get a deal by the end of the year.

What other tag teams out there would be good options for WWE to sign?
