I was all for a rumble return but I was very neutral on Corey when he was a wrestler myself, I'm not excited for any full time return

I feel like at that time in NXT his biggest upside was that he stood out from the rest because of his look being all tatted up, obviously that wouldn't be the case now.

I found his promos terribly boring and his matches were good enough, above average for that time of NXT but it was still a lot of green FCW guys. The Sami feud was very promising but I think that's when his concussions started

Corey I thought after injury should of switched to a manager type role. He is very good off cuff and has that get under nails type heel. I'm always surprised given their friendship he wasn't used to be Corbin manager

Corey did say while back he was cleared. Corey was one of my favs in early nxt days. I mean honestly he's not wrong he got cast aside three times now to Pat, Joe and Wade. Man did go over from color to play by play too. I would have to imagine this is a work. If it's not than oh boy this gonna be interesting.

FWIW I like totally get Corey's concerns and his gripes, but personally I just don't like him as a commentator. He wants to be a wrestler again, cool; I just can't stand his commentator personality. Like I said earlier in this thread, he's WWE's version of WCW Larry "Im the smartest man alive" Zbyszko.
