He's allowed to be mad about it, I get why he would be. I don't really get why done are insistent he shouldn't be. I also thought he'd gotten a lot better the last couple years so care a little more about it myself, but tbh I completely get him being bumped for Pat myself so I don't even think WWE is "in the wrong" he's just allowed to be upset about it.

I still would have done 3 man on SmackDown with him tho, then he could still do Speed too. Seemed the most logical thing but I guess HHH really doesn't like them
I can also see him combining this with the fact he has been cleared but they ''won't'' let him go in the ring. That's a good recipe for sour grapes.

I get wwe being who they are using the big stars they have to get mainstream appeal with the dudebros

I get Corey feeling like he thinks he's the heir apparent but treated like a bench warmer

People end up leaving jobs for shit like this all the time, and people end up getting over it just as much. If it's real, it may just blow over or wwe may decide it's worth cutting bait and save money. hard to tell how they value these roles, they let Samantha walk for example but they did not grant her her release.

Also just a small update: Corey did finally delete the tweets. Them being up so long also made me think it was a work. I don't think I buy if it's a shoot he was trying to get fired tho, if so he's dumb for not at least asking for a release first lol assuming he didn't, why start guns blazing without trying the easy option

A classic Vince thing would be doing something similar like this, generate good buzz, have a Rumble return that everyone loves, and then no follow up lol

Yeah I don't really have sympathy for Corey the person as much I can say this, he's had his share of bonehead comments
I certainly remember a lot of cringe ass tweets over the year as well as some spectacular corporate ass kissing so I'm not rah rah for him either as you can see I am fairly neutral on the matter lol

I think it's just a neutral situation anyway. One guy got a lower spot in a job, it doesn't matter how understandable it is, it's his life, he's the main character, he can be mad.

He's not my main character and I don't think he was particularly fucked over for terrible reasons so I don't feel as strongly lol it's mostly fun drama for me (less so with no update yet)

I'd like to think that current WWE management handle this better than the deviant ever would. Maybe?

Like, I was joking yesterday about him coming to AEW but while I think his comms style would be a good fit, I would be apprehensive about bringing his type of opinionated drama backstage and calling my product. I think he can be a pro but I also think he has a history of maybe rubbing people the wrong way. he reminds me a lot of punk lol

I think if I put myself in Corey's shoes my biggest gripe is probably how he took over play by play on SmackDown when they needed him and did very good at it (I was very skeptical), but once he wasn't needed for it anymore he also got his old role taken.

I can see being bitter about Wade too but I like him better than Corey personally so again less sympathy there lol

Also the thing with three man booths, even though I suggested it, is Corey is also just way worse in them historically, he's so much better with just 1 other guy as PBP or color

I maintain, get rid of Booker. His gross slobbering over the women is one point to fuck him off

This is by far the best option I just stopped suggesting it bc it seems to be impossible for some reason. He's got dirt on someone

Or more likely he pops everyone backstage so it's for them, not us

Weird situation. Should have definitely been the 3rd guy on SmackDown and though it would be a cool story / redemption for him, I don't think I have a singular fuck to give about seeing him in the ring if that's what he wants to try push for.

I was all for a rumble return but I was very neutral on Corey when he was a wrestler myself, I'm not excited for any full time return
