They had a better team then, and football was completely different then. Football has changed so much over the last ten years.

Brazil have way more players playing in various professional leagues than any country in the world. It's in the tens of thousands. They can choose so many different teams and because of their countries ideology and philosophy, they can do the job. Germany have some incredible players and have an incredible bench, but take away those 30 or so players, I think they'd be struggling to find replacements that would compete with Spain's left-overs or Brazils.

That sounds like a challenge! Give me 20 mins see what i can come up with

30 may have been too low a number, but I doubt they're anywhere near Brazil's level of depth. Brazil probably can beat Spain in terms of capable international players.

Put that team against any decent senior squad, and they lose heavily. I could come up with an out-of-sorts Brazilian team that don't get a look in at the moment who would compete with the likes of England, etc., in my opinion anyway.
