Clearly this was meant to be the first episode after break. I'm sure they moved it to put an episode with broader appeal first to give new viewers a chance to get to know the characters. I wouldn't worry about the switching, they've switched the order of episodes in all three seasons.

The Law & Order episode was fantastic. My mom has seen a couple of episodes and she doesn't really get it but she watches Law & Order all the time and she loved this episode. I loved the fact that they got the coroner from the real show in there. There was a bunch of laughs like star burns trying to kiss that girl and the interrogation. I also liked how they randomly had construction going on and police sirens like they do on Law & Order.

I recently watched all of the first season on DVD and thought it was one of freshest, most exciting and charming comedies I have seen in a long time. The cast are spot on, and the writing preduction values and music all wonderful.

Have to say the first episode of season two was a bit poor (the one with Betty White). The storyline of Britta and Annie competing over Jeff was a bit lame and beneath those characters, also it was one of those episodes where the characters tried to define themselves roles and those often don't work in sitcoms. However I hear the show gets back on track soon often, and the third episode (missed number two) was much better).

Season three has started airing here and for me it has been hit and miss. Competitive Ecology wasn't good at all and I don't think I laughed once. It had the same formula where the group infights and then at the end become great friends again and I thought that they had dealt with that last year with the flashback episode. I also didn't care for Chang's sub plot in that episode. But I watched Documentary Filmmaking:Redux last week and it was hilarious, absolutely brilliant episode.

Word on the street (the street being TV Guide Magazines facebook site) is that Community will be renewed for a shortened 4th season of 13 episodes.

Watched the Glee episode, couldn't stop laughing, fantastic episode.

It ended up getting renewed for the 13 episode 4th season like you said. Hopefully it airs in fall so that there is a chance it could get 9 more episodes that season, they also haven't said that it is the last season.

An article I said made specific mention that they have not announced it as the last season.

Even though they haven't announced it as the last season it would actually make a lot of sense if this was the last season of the show because from the first season Jeff clearly states that he is on a tight four year study plan. Anything more than four seasons would mean that they either all fail a class or decide to continue studying even after getting their degrees.

Plenty of rumours going around that Chevy Chase and Dan Harmon might not be heavily involved because of a feud that they have. I would hate if Chevy left because his character is fantastic and the show has a great balance with him in it. Hopefully they sort out whatever they have between them and both return to do what is best for Community.

They actually address the whole community college 4 year thing in an episode this season they simply say
that while most degrees are "two year degrees" most students attend a community college for 7 year

That mustn't have aired yet here in Australia, or I may have missed that episode. In Season one he does say that he will be there for four years and they have yet to fail a class so four years works at the moment. Or they could continue on like Pierce's character who has been there for more than a dozen years doing random classes.

Well Dan Harmon got replaced as the show runner. It'll be interesting to see how season four plays out if he can no longer write the show. I figure this has to do with the whole Chevy/Harmon incident. Also I really enjoyed the 3 episodes they aired last thursday. I guess they tried to keep with the other shows and all have season finales together. My favorite of the bunch was the 8 bit episode.

As silly as this show often is, it manages to pack in more significant emotional moments than just about any other sitcom on TV.
