Just looking at prowrestling.com and they report that at last nights house show he played a fully fledged heel and apparently he assisted Chris Jericho in an attack on Rey Mysterio.

I like the fact they're using this fake eye injury as a means of turning Punk heel. Like someone above said, it makes me dislike Punk as a character.

I think that the crowd will turn him heel before management does.

Exactly! Jeff gets one of the biggest and, maybe more poigniently, the most unanimous pop in the entire 'E. Already said us much, but if they wanted to toy with the fans perception of Punk they picked the wrong guy to play him off of.

they could easily switch back when they see who the REAL bad guy is.

....Was pondering a swerve here whilst watching this week's SD, but the catalyst for all this heat is Punk cashing in on Jeff - How could Jeff be positioned as the bad guy in that scenario? ...The way things are I could see Hardy 'getting away with' any attack he saw fit.

Right, you see that now, but they could always manipulate it to the point where Jeff is just a bitter person and takes his anger out on anything that even slightly annoys him. Then maybe they'd feel sorry for ragging on Punk when Jeff has just a short-fuse and refused to listen to the truth. Just a possibility.

I think it's obvious CM Punk is going to turn heel. His swagger has completely changed and his last promo on Smackdown was completely heelish.

I am also marking out by the fact that they are starting to route this feud into a straightedge/junkie battle.
