Okay so this section is for all Groups Trades, Releases, Signings etc. In this post I will explain a little more clearly how this works. I will use current actual WWE GM's & Talent in my examples.
TRADES
William Regal wants to make a trade with Vickie Guerrero. He wants to try and aquire The Undertaker and is planning to offer Randy Orton in exchange.
William Regal would create a thread in this section with the Subject line "Trade Offer for Vickie Guerrero".
In the body of the msg he would Leave a basic msg along the lines of "I will give you Randy Orton in exchange for The Undertaker"
The trade offer remains open until Vickie has either replied to accept or decline the offer. If she chooses to decline, and is perhaps intrested in aquiring Randy Orton, she can reply with a counter offer...for example she may reply with "No deal, but I will give you Batista for Randy Orton" or if she is intrested in ditching the Undertaker but maybe wants someone other then Orton she could reply with, "No deal, but I will give you The Undertaker for John Cena"
The offers can continue, but if and when a deal is settled on, I will post a closing comment confirming the deal has been agreed to. However, both sides have 24 hours to back out of the deal after my post by making a post saying they have changed there mind. If neither side backs out, at the end of the 24 hour period, the thread will be closed and the deal finalized to take effect on the next upcoming Saturday. Should the 24 hour period end on a Saturday, the trade deal will not take effect till the following Saturday.
OPEN TRADE
You may also make open trades as well. Again, lets say William Regal is looking to trade away Randy Orton. But he's not really sure who he nessisarly wants for him. William Regal can create a thread that in the subject line reads, "Open Trade Offer for Randy Orton". Any GM at that point is welcome to join in and make a trade offer for Randy Orton, and then the process would be the same as above.
FREE AGENTS/RELEASING & SIGNING
There may be times when you realize that there is an unsigned talent still in the available free agents thread. This talent you may notice would be earning someone some points if he was signed, and you may have someone on your roster who is dead weight. Should you wish to sign one of these talents, you should send me a PM. The Subject line should read, "Release/Sign of Free Agent" In the body of the msg you would post who you wish to release from your roster and who you wish to pick up in exchange from the free agents list. Like a trade, I will reply verifying the exchange and then you have 24 hours in which to possibly back out and change your mind. At the end of the 24 hours, like a trade the deal takes effect on the next upcoming Saturday.
OCCATIONAL ROSTER EXPANSION DRAFTS
Keeping your eyes open on the Available Free Agents is important as well for the above situation that we just reviewed as sometimes some talents will be added (new rookies, stars etc that break into the world of pro wrestling) However I may occationally choose to have a Roster expansion draft. This year (2008/09 Season) your rosters are starting at a Max of 9. If there is enough free agents to allow an increase in your roster size I may choose to have a draft to decide to whom those free agents go. If such a draft happens, there will be an announcement made in this section. A week later the draft will take place and all new signings from this draft will not take effect until the next Saturday after the drafts completion. The Draft order will be determined by the rankings. The last place Brand/GM will get the 1st pick, the 1st Place Brand/GM will get the last pick.
Finally, remember, trades can begin at any time....even now while the draft is going on, and before the season begins as well. Any questions should be posted using the reply function for this thread.
