CM Punk cut promos at this weekend’s RAW live events and demanded to be announced as “The People’s Champion.â€￾ This may be something that carries over to WWE TV as he feuds with The Rock.

This can be another good thing for their feud. Probably Punk will use it tonight when The Rock is not around and Rock will have an answer for this next week. Good idea by WWE. This will make another angle for their feud as their promos are a bit weak for me, especially Rock, who kept continuing himself.

I could see this leading into and argument of like Punk saying when he was champion, he would always show up and defend it, and Rock doesn't even have the time of day to be the "The People's" Champion, when he is never around, and never fights.

Doesn't surprise me that he is starting to use this. It is an easy way for him to get heel heat and gives him ammunition against The Rock since he was on every show whilst he was champion.

Until this thread I didn't even WWE was planning on having Punk feud with Rock.

This is so basic and has been done by Rock's opponents in a few of his feuds already. It's just to get under his skin, this would be just like Punk deciding to mention Rock would rather be doing movies every week.
