I think ur not gonna get much better than finally beating ur biggest rival in front of wembley. I don't think he will get a better deal
Please…

All they gotta do is offer him that WrestleMania Main Event that still bothers him

Oh 1000% if they promised them upfront a WrestleMania Main event he’s in the door like immediately. I also think in general, Phil probably does wanna end this career in the WWE so he can shift his legacy better. Even before the AEW firing I think he probably started to think that he didn’t want his is ending legacy in the WWE being that he walked out after losing to Kane at the royal rumble.

Yep. It’s easier now than ever to finally let him have a main event.

That’s another thing that you guys have touched on but I haven’t really mentioned.

More often that not, how you go out is how you’re remembered…

You think Phil Brooks wants to be remembered like this?

I think he thinks he was justified and doesn’t feel it’s tarnished his image at all

I mean just in general, there’s no way Phil wants to end his career in the WWE having walked out and then in AEW having been fired. If you can give him a year maybe even two years on the WWE that ends with a WrestleMania Main Event as well as a Hall of Fame induction. That would be a much better way for his legacy to live on. He won’t be able to sway the minds of the most hard-core AEW fans probably but I think after a couple years with no problems in the WWE, if he can accomplish that. Would probably get his overall career perspective in a more positive way overall light for the general public.

He was a grouch when he was in his 20s, so it's pretty easy to imagine how much of a hardass he is now that he's old and relatively broken down. I think some of y'all may be downplaying his level of spitefulness.

I think two things can be true at once. I don’t think Phil thinks his behavior was wrong, but he’s not an idiot. He can see the public perception of him is negative.

It’s not so much underplaying his spitefulness. It’s about the fact that if he went back to WWE, he’d actually have a boss to try and keep him in line. And I say TRY cause it’s not a guarantee.

This.

I said the entire time it will be completely on Phil to keep his spitefulness in check, but I think the factors that I keep pointing out that I don’t think anyone else is pointing out it’s not just the fact that WWE would keep him in Check, but they are keeping everyone else in Check as well. The people that want to get to Phil and are looking for him to overreact to things won’t be able to provoke him in the same way. I think you get environment where everything is kept in Check he can maybe keep himself in play. Maybe. We’ll see.
