I've said it before though. How would you stop him? I agree wwe is a tighter ship n would punish him quicker. But he's still gonna do the damage. They ain't taking over his Instagram. So shorter leash or not, he's still gonna shit on your carpet. Metaphorically speaking
I mean, it would be completely on Phil and whether or not, he valued one last run and whatever money, Vince was thrown his way, but generally speaking a shorter leash, and knowing you have a shorter leash, usually does the job. Usually it prevents the behavior from happening in the first place.

You know what… if he came back and punched Vince in the face I wouldn’t even be mad.
Ironically, a lot of people that currently mad at him might cheer that lol I don’t think I would just because that he’s a nearly 80 year old man and I don’t think punching him possibly a good look for his legacy, but it would be a funny story

I think ur not gonna get much better than finally beating ur biggest rival in front of wembley. I don't think he will get a better deal
I was saying this in Chicago that if Punk decided right now to hang it up outside of the reception of his back stage antics is on screen last match in front of 81,000 people defeating Samoa Joe is probably the best way he could go out.

Technically, I have no problem with him fighting dudes at all. If it didn't fuck up shows that I love, I couldn't care less. Being that I only watch WWE PLEs, it wouldn't bother me at all if he started a backstage melee and knocked out everyone in Gorilla :lol

I get that but I meant I don’t want to see career end because of backstage squabbles. I want to see him end it properly. Idc what he does in WWE I just want to see him wrestle again.

If I’m being perfectly honest, this is my take as well. I kind of wish fights were just kept in the back and we didn’t hear about them. as long as nobody got too hurt to perform, don’t suspend anybody don’t make a public release about it and just get back to work like they did in the olden days

That being said punk, really gotta learn to use his words

Idk I think in 2023 fighting is not really acceptable. But I see it more as a performance than a sport n most ppl would get canned for fighting at work. I'm not about that toxic masculinity bullshit

I don’t think people should fight at work, but I also don’t really care if they do. It doesn’t hurt my enjoyment of the product. Jericho and Goldberg got into a nasty scrap backstage, settled their issues after and worked a match together the following week like professionals.
