I think WWE talents will do whatever is best for business if Triple H asks them to. Whether or not Triple H would go to bat for Phil is another question.

I think the question is more so would Phil be willing.

Hunter will do whatever he thinks will make the WWE money. Personal or not. Plus it’s been what, a decade? Ball is in Phil’s court.

If Punk is mature, then leave it at that. If he shoots at anyone, let them shoot back on a podcast and have their say. Keep it off TV but if Punk wants to fire off, I think it is high time we heard the other's side view point of what he did if Punk speaks publicly.

I’m not hanging my hat on it, but I’ve been thinking since All Out a WWE final run was probably more likely and probably more apropos if he wants to end his career on his own terms.
I always felt like if he finished up his deal with AEW whether he was on TV or not, then that would probably have been it for him. Now it's almost like he has another point to prove sort of thing.

There was definitely more to that visit when WWE was in town that's for sure

Now this I agree with. Shoot on podcasts since Punk isn’t a coworker anymore, but keep it off tv.

Punk is responsible for Punk being fired, but I’d be lying if I wasn’t looking forward to his shoot. They’re always entertaining as fuck when he shoots his shit.

I do think Punk was putting out feelers but it would come down to whether WWE thinks he is worth the potential hassle. And it's not like WWE is struggling business or popularity wise

Not struggling, but WWE does have an ego. They’d probably love to say they had Punk’s final run and then they’d be able to milk Punk retirement home videos and merch and stuff. Plus, a HOF headliner etc.

Depends on if Phil is interested and what the higher ups think about it.

I still listen to his podcast about why he left WWE from time to time.

as I said, WWE fans, be careful what you wish for. You actually have a good thing going. AEW was white hot without Punk and look what he did to their public perception. Don't say we didn't warn you :p

Providing the money is right, the higher ups don't think twice about it imo. The environment will be different there, HHH and the guys running the show aren't gonna be all starry-eyed by Punk's presence and let him act out the way he had been doing.
