Real life hit, appreciate your support. Also, I’m legit stuck on one article I was working on for the site, so I stepped away for a hot minute. We’re back!

What's the subject matter if you don't mind giving is a little teaser

This is years ago, but this may be one of the greatest thing I have ever seen. Conrad really just completely tells Eric Bischoff off for his stupid lies about Starrcade 97. Eric has changed his story on the finish to the Sting vs Hogan finish. If you tell the truth, you don't need a good memory.

Eric's story about the finish doesn't make sense. He blames Sting for "not having his head in the game." YET he still gives Sting the belt TWICE. Conrad Thompson really puts Eric in his place.

Everyone knows that Hogan used his creative control to fuck up the finish of what should have been a two minute match with Sting destroying Hogan.

Ask Eric 10 Years from now he'll give you another detail or change up his Story again. Eric saying Sting didn't have his head in the Game I would be too if I'm being told the finish we've had in the Books for ages was changed because of Hogan. 97/98 was all over the place with Booking and I wanted to punch my Laptop Screen when he said he never through Coffee on Eddie Guerrero.

"He didn't have his head in the game... but I will still give him the belt twice in two months..."

Yeah I know Eric has changed his story a lot. Like I said "If you tell the truth, you don't have to have a good memory." Lies are harder to remember than the truth because they didn't happen.

Edit: and that match was the beginning of the end for WCW. My boyfriend and I watched it live and we were like WTF?

Yeah the crazy thing here is when Eric pretty much said people weren't talking about the finish Sting was still the World Champion. I was 11 at that time but even me at that age I was like what the hell was that ending. I remember the Montreal Screwjob who I watched with my Uncle and Cousin and though this is not suppose to be happening.

Wasnt the story that he had personal issues going on at the time AND he wasnt in ring shape hence why he was wearing a full body suit?

That is one of Eric's many stories. I don't believe it for an instant though. He has also mentioned that Sting was having a drug problem at the time. Even though he denies it, he did say that one of the reasons was because Sting didn't have a tan... that is a fact...

Rewatching the match, Sting doesn't look built like surfer Sring. But he absolutely is in ring shape. If they think he wasn't in ring shape, they shouldn't have kept him out of the ring for 18 months. He wasn't injured for that entire time. But most people would kill to be in his shape.

Also, Sting moved fine in the match. Contrary to what people remember, Hogan really didn't dominate the match. Sting had a lot of offense too, even some before the restart. But most people don't remember because they wanted Sting to destroy Hogan quickly and that didn't happen.

Without a doubt, Hogan used his creative control here. Eric denies that because he claims Hogan would make the same amount of money whether he won or lost.

What Eric never talks about is Hogan's ego. Hogan has a history of not wanting to look bad regardless of the money. But Eric never mentions that when people claim Hogan used his creative control. All he talks about is the money and since he never mentions Hogan's ego, we can pretty much confirm that is what happened.

Eric is Hogan's butt buddy though so he always lies for him.

Oh and Sting wore the full body suit through most of the 18 months that he was in the rafters and attacking the NWO. It made sense he would wear it in the match

I've returned with a post on The Big Bang May 6 on a character solely remembered for The Powers That Be era: MIDNIGHT.
Midnight was such a huge what if for me. She had the look and she was one of those people who could have been way better in ring had she not come from the Buddy Lee Parker school of "run till you vomit".
