Because you allowed it to. It was tied. Asked for a tie breaker, Something won. Close the poll.

Leaving it open allowed the people to tie it up again because they were trying to watch SS 2013.

But what if he wants to remind people to get their votes in before the poll closes? I have forgotten to vote when it's first posted before
