Goldeneye vs. Idle Hands
OMB Thoughts: I never been a huge James Bond fan but truth be told this probably the one I associate the most with my childhood and likely the first bond I was introduced too. Sean Bean plays a great villian and as always ends up with a fantastic death. 3.5 out of 5. Idle Hands is a stupid fun movie that I throughly enjoyed and the amount of young stars in this is crazy. Jessica Alba naked too is nice, Seth Green & the kid from daredevil, mighty ducks, and a shit ton of 90s films is fun in this as well. Devon Sawa is someone who I thought end up having good career. He's been here and there and I am happy for him to see him flourish on Chucky TV series where he plays like 10 different people. 3 out of 5 stars.
Back To The Future vs. Jaws
OMB Thoughts: MJF and not the one you think is great in this. I keep forgetting how good a actor he was. Also a shout out to him on Scrubs where he plays a doctor with OCD. This was again a movie I liked but never loved however I respect the impact it has made and Christopher Lloyd is still a funny guy. 3 out 5 stars. Jaws I love Richard Dreyfuss and will always keep a movie on with him on it. It's crazy to think how a malfunction with the shark ended up saving him in this movie and maybe saving his career. The soundtrack to the film to this day I use on my boat at work to joke with people.
4 Out Of 5 stars.
Kick-Ass vs. Star Wars Ep V
OMB's Thoughts: Kick Ass is another film I really enjoyed Nic Cage as Big Daddy
and the fact that Chloe Grace absolutely kills in this movie as Hit Girl is fun. Aaron Taylor Johnson career takes off after this and I don't mind him as actor. Nice spin on the hero genre. Red Mist is a dick too fucking McLovin. 4 out of 5 stars. Star Wars is once again another series I never got really into. That said modern day baby yoda grugu is lovely protect the child. That said I can def say out of all the old ones this is the best one. 3 out of 5 stars
Shawshank Redemption vs. Army Of Darkness
OMB Thoughts: Yeah, classic movie here in Shawshank Redemption it's been a long time since I seen this. Tim Robbins second best performance imo jacobs ladder probably my #1. I will say the dialogue in this movie is really good. And of course you got Morgan Freeman being Morgan f****** Freeman to this day probably still one of the best actors in the planet. I can't really say much more than that to this film it's definitely one of the films that you need to watch before you die. I give this one 3.5 stars out of 5. Then of course we got Army of Darkness. Bruce Campbell of course and probably the most iconic Pro he has ever had and Ash Williams what can I say about this movie The Comedy is great on point. It has probably some of the most memorable lines and Cinema history and of course you got to hail to the king baby.
4.5 stars out of 5.
Scar-Face vs. Face/Off (omb match of the week)
OMB Thoughts: here we go again another classic movie Al Pacino and probably once again one of the most iconic rolls of his. Honestly I haven't seen this movie until probably about 3 or 4 years ago but man I got to tell you enjoyed it. Will say this this is one of those movies that should never be remade and definitely one that deserves to be in the Hall of Fame of Cinema. I give this one 4 out of 5 stars. As it was stated earlier one of my favorite actors on the planet is Nicolas Cage. I like face off while it's not in my top five Nick Cage movies this movie does has some absolutely wild crazy fun seeing Nick Cage kind of playing John Travolta and John Travolta playing Nick Cage it's really an enjoyable movie and it's really the 90s all kind of and one shot. Castor Troy though is probably one of the better villains that Nick Cage has played just the scene at the airport with the choir and the hallelujahs and his face everybody knows which one I'm talking about.
. I give this 3.5 stars out of 5.
Eyes Wide Shut vs. Moby Dick
OMB Thoughts: Cruise & Kidman's on screen chemistry is so good. This another movie I haven't seen in while but damn good choice. 3.5 stars out of 5. Moby Dick is another classic however I'll be honest I haven't seen this adoption of this. That said Gregory Peck is such a great actor. I may turn this on at some point to check it out.
