CHIKARA King Of Trios 2012

:To explain in full:
- The Swarm are Wrestle Factory dropouts who feel the only way to gain acceptance in CHIKARA is by pretending to be other characters under masks, thus they copied and feuded with the Colony.
- The Swarm took out Fire Ant at Chikarasaurus Rex.
- With the Colony being a man down, Wink Vavassuer (CHIKARA's bumbling authority figure) decided to use CHIKARAbermetrics (a system he's trying to innovate to create new, better teams in CHIKARA) to create the best "ant" team at King of Trios. The result was Soldier Ant being teamed with the Swarm.
- Green Ant insisted Fire Ant would be ready in time for KOT, so Wink decided to fix things by entering the Colony in KOT. Except instead of putting Soldier Ant back where he belongs, he stuck combatANT in their instead.
So basically, the GM is an idiot and oblivious to the rivalries engulfed in his company.

Kingston/Tadasuke is an interesting one. 'Suke is of course the current (former by the time this match takes place) YLC holder having taken the cup out of CHIKARA for the last year. I'm hoping 'Suke faces the new YLC holder on night 3 if he's there for the weekend.
The tag gauntlet is KOT tradition and should be fun as always.

Tadasuke finally coming back! Has he really earned a shot at Kingston though...? Last time he was there the title didn't exist! Would be awesome for him to face the new YLC holder though!

Second, two first round matches are confirmed! 3.0 & Akuma vs. The Batiri and something of a grudge match as Quack, Jigsaw & Toyota battle the Swarm & Soldier Ant.

The Colony vs. Sendai Girls added to the first round, and judging by this weeks event centre, it sounds like we're getting FIST vs. Osaka Pro too.
FIST/Osaka is an interesting one, as the two teams have clashed in the last two KOT quarter finals, sharing one victory a piece. Obviously, those were very different Osaka Pro line ups compared to this years, but there's history there nonetheless.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see Sendai Girls upset The Colony in round 1.
