I remember when I was a kid there was something where you could go and pet tiger cubs

I didn't get to go and I was heartbroken

I wanted to get a picture taken with one at a fair but it was sick or something so I did it with a bear. I remember being upset and crying as well :downer:

I think it was first grade, was a school field trip to the Columbus zoo

they just had tiger cubs born in captivity and they were gonna let kids pet them, but you needed money to go and my mom wouldn't pay it. So I stayed home

yeah I was so disappointed

I never got to do anything like that in school though, if you had to pay to go on a field trip I didn't get to go

I had the options to go to a few of them when I was younger but as I got older, I didn't bother asking because I knew my parents were having money issues

sucks though anything with animals I would have been all about

I know there was a trip to go to the zoo and spend the night with the wolves (in the building with the glass window) but it was too much at the time. I think that was when I was in 8th grade.
