and I expect the same respect and he knew this... he was my stepdad for about 20 years at that point

and he started yelling at me because I was renting a house from him and my mom. He thought he could come in and do whatever he wanted, so I called the police. He thought he would be able to stay in the house because he owned it, but since I was the legal tenant, they removed him and told him if I didn't want him there, he couldn't be there
