and base, you have it worse in austrailia because I assume that there's not that many jobs in there. To me, getting a graduate job there seems like a pile of shit compared to getting a graduate degree/job HERE. Yes, you pay things upfront, but there are options. like scholarships, student loans, and whatnot. Honestly, I stopped going to college becasue I realised early, that college is a SCAM.
Oh no there are jobs here, it is just employers are unwilling to employ graduates. Because they have this archaic notion that they are the product that we are buying, when in reality employers are the consumers and we are the product
They complain there aren't any people with qualifications so then the government brings in 457 Visas (basically a work visa), which means the companies don't have to provide all the benefits that Australian workers are entitled to under law
College students spend 20k to the maximum 50,000 to the highest 100k JUST to graduate. With nothing to show for it. Some sink that amount of money, and don't even get a high paying job that requires the college education. Sounds stupid, eh? Exactly.
