Yeah I don't know. I've always been a Sheen fan and as an actor he appealed to me. What's going on right now I'm not sure. My thoughts are that maybe he just realized how short life is and he's trying to live the most out of it.

He wouldn't care what is happening at the moment. He would have a ton of money in the bank and the cheques will continue to roll in from the syndication of Two and a Half Men. He gets close to $2 million an episode now and is the highest paid star in tv. This will just be a long vacation for him. I don't think he cares about anyones opinions and realises that he is money in the bank for tv executives.
I liked him in Wall Street and his cameo in Ferris Bueller is memorable but other than that I don't think I have liked him in anything else. Can't stand the show Two and a Half Men but good luck to him if he can earn that much each episode.
