The song is Country Rock, I really fail to see how that isn't country.

The theme is Country meaning that the subgenres are allowed, hence why Taylor Swift who is country pop is allowed.

I really just think it boils down to common sense at the end of the day. When I saw country as the theme, I didn't think country sub genres, I thought about COUNTRY. I hoped everyone else was going to do the same.

Seeing as this weeks genre is television themes, can I just go ahead and pick a song from a movie or stage musical? I mean, they're still "themes" right?

Let's look at some of the other entry's this week.

Ring of Fire is technically a Rock and Roll song, Ain't no Grave is a gospel song.

At the end of the day the song is a Country song, I don't see how there's a problem at all.
