Chael Sonnen offered up two responses to recent words made by former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson while serving as an analyst on UFC Tonight. Jackson sounded off that Sonnen should retire because of the performance he put forth against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva recently.

Quote:
The first response given by Sonnen was as an analyst. He said, "'Rampage' has one fight left in the UFC and he isn't fighting me. I give you that answer because I'm sitting here wearing my fancy suit, with an ear piece on and I have been branded an analyst on the No. 1 UFC show on TV today."

Sonnen went on, though, to say, "But if you had asked me outside, in my kingdom, and I was wearing my sponsor's shirt, I would have told him that he should stick to violating female reporters. He should stick to making box office disasters, and driving the wrong way on the freeway ramped up on Mountain Dew. He's not on my level."
Sonnen sat back in his chair with his UFC mug after leaving those remarks. It is possible that Jackson, who is set to face Glover Teixeira at UFC 153 later this year, could always resign with the UFC. And, if Sonnen is serious about a move to 205, the two would make for a very interesting bout.

I say let them fight. Get Rampage Locked in for atleast one more fight after UFC 153. It'd be a fun fight to watch i think.

 I just don't see how anybody is still a fan of Rampage, he's been done and over for years. I'm calling it right now, he's going to be the next Tim Syliva and in 3 years he'll be 300 pounds and begging the UFC to take him back.

This fight would suck ass. Chael would take down Rampage at will and would win a UD with his pitter patter punches from mount.

I've never liked Rampage although that could be why Rashad is my favorite. Still his actions and his mouth just irritate me and I always thought he was overrated. I'm still baffled how he got a title shot against Jones last year.

His pitter patter punches knocked down your boy in the avi down 5 times.

As for Rampage, I vote we have a blackout on any news related to him. He's irrelevant, a moaning bitch and his opinion means nothing.

Rampage should look at his last few fights before he talks about someones performance in the cage.

Yep knocked him down 5 times while being on roids is something pretty notable.

Goodness back to this again? Chael reigned in the match but in the end he lost... END OF STORY!

But Chael could probably take him down... but he wouldn't be able to finish him. So it'd just be a lot of wrestling going on and a couple of slams. Unless Rampage were to be able to connect with a hook.

Its still illegal and he got suspended for it. Its cheating plain and simple.

It's not illegal to anyone with a doctors prescription. I know tons of people who need TRT, it's not cheating.

Jesus, is Anderson Silva a cheater for being better than everyone? Seems like an unfair advantage don't it?

Everybody does something to gain an edge, you think dropping weight is okay?
