Chael Sonnen Makes Reference To Next Fight

Chael Sonnen has made waves about a possible move to a different weight class after falling to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva last month. Now, via Twitter, Sonnen has fueled those rumors.

"It's not 'catch weight' it's a 'grudge weight.' I'll fight him at a GRUDGE WEIGHT OF 200lbs," Sonnen wrote. "I don't care about him enough to cut to 185."


Certainly that leaves the door open for several fighters. Rashad Evans sparked rumors of a potential fight with Sonnen by posting a picture of the two squaring off, but there is not much of a grudge between those two that is known publicly.

Maybe Rampage, but seeing as he's leaving i can't imagine that happening. It would make sense seeing as the two have been taking shots at each other for a while. I'll assume for now though he's referring to Evans.

With him hinting at moving down, and Sonnen talking about this, it makes sense.

Yeah i kind of think he and Evans are friends, or it seems like that way from the way they are on the post fight stuff on Fuel TV.

Belfort was the first to spring to mind, they've had a long running feud and Belfort switches between 185/205 a lot.
