The Rowan thing is a little jarring to me as we have no background to it, but we'll see how they handle it. Could all be a set up too. Most people already think team cena is going to lose so.....

+1 for the 'Rowan being added made no sense'. They also had me with Cesaro going out- would have preferred it, but then that probably wouldn't have made much more sense either.

Even though it was random as hell, I still enjoyed the Rowan inclusion due to the fact that it took me by surprise and it should be interesting seeing he and Harper on opposite sides of the ring come Sunday.

Having said that, now that Rowan is officially apart of Cena's team, having him be the one to turn on Team Cena and cost them the victory would make no sense to me since it would just make Cena and the others look like complete dumb-asses for ever even trusting someone like him as their partner in the first place.

Which is kind of what I feel like is going to happen here.......

And if it does - :eek:hgod::okay:

I mean I can see the business model. Give Survivor series away for free. Have the heels get a huge victory. Leads to matches at WM where the faces tend to win more often which they probably think translates to more subscribers - cause WM sure ain't gonna be free.

Team Cena has no chance of losing. Nobody has any chance of turning. Just stop.

Wonder if the Rowan swerve was out of necessity? Sheamus was legit injured out out of the show and I'm not sure if there's even another babyface on the roster you can put here that isn't all tied up.

A Sheamus turn here to save the Authority would be really cool... Actually, you know what? Fantasy booking. Instead of the stupid stipulation they announced, how about "If Team Authority win, John Cena loses his title shot at Royal Rumble". Match happens, Sheamus turns heel to save the Authority's collective asses, and they reward Sheamus with Cena's title shot. Feel like that wouldn't be a bad way to go.

Yeah, Sheamus getting injured is prolly the best thing that could've happened to Rowan. lol

I think there'll be some turning on teams this Sunday, but even if there isn't, I won't be bugged about that. I just have a feeling that The Authority will win. It's too early to go away for The Authority, they should end this whole Authority saga at Mania.
If there happens to be no heel turning after all, which is something I'm fine with, there could be some outside interference, either by HHH or The Ascension. Although I have a feeling The Ascension will get involved in Ambrose vs Wyatt match, screwing Ambrose out of the victory.

I like your fantasy booking, btw. But Cena vs Lesnar needs to happen, 'cause everyone's sick of seeing it, so that chapter could finally and hopefully come to a close.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the randomness of inserting Rowan into the match. I guess it makes a kind of sense with the injury to Sheamus, with everyone else tied up in other storylines. I just hate on the surface how obvious it appears (to me at least) that Rowan is a "plant" on Team Cena. Even if he is not, I suspect he will be an early elimination. I don't see him building a feud with Harper, since he is getting built up against Ziggler, But that discussion is for another thread...

I would have really liked this. It has bothered me since the stipulation was first put in place that Cena and his team have nothing to lose as opposed to the Authority. Of course the fans all want to see the Authority get what is coming to them, but this to me just has the appearance of a desperate bid to get more viewers. Having Cena or his team put something on the line might have made me think otherwise.

Umm, there is something on the line for Team Cena, actually. If they lose, they get fired.

Team Cena will lose, I believe. But getting fired is, umm... :dawg:

I've already read the spoilers for SD, so no worries. It's not like it's a good show anyways, there's nothing to be spoiled or excited about. Just the ol', typical/10 SmackDown episode.

Team Authority better win at Survivor Series!

SmackDown was better on TV then it was in the stream I watched.. It was a pretty good SD IMO, it seemed just a tad better than the other SDs over the past couple of months give or take one or two.

The whole Triple H and Michael Cole segment as the beginning was really, really good.. and it got me to thinking... what if there were hints thrown in there.. he talked about the Attitude Era being the greatest era in wrestling history and how he's the only one left standing (guess he forgot about Kane, Henry, and Show lol).. but what if Team Authority is going to lose so that they can bring back a couple of those AE stars in leadership roles... we've all heard the rumors of Stone Cold's return, Mick Foley has spoken about wanting to be the RAW GM again. Lesnar is done after Wrestlemania, he's leaning toward rejoining the UFC.. Rollins would still be Mr. MITB if The Authority loses so he's still got plenty going for him.. Henry and Kane could take a break.. Rusev would start a feud with whoever eliminates him... HHH and Stephanie get a much needed vacation until they are ready to be on TV again... I see nothing saying the Authority won't lose... and everything saying Team Cena wins.

So I'm calling it now.. a day before SS... Team Cena will win.. and Monday Night RAW will be the introduction, by Mr. McMahon, of either Stone Cold or Mick Foley (or possibly Sting) as the newly appointed GM of RAW, or maybe even the return of Brad Maddox.. dun dun duh..

I still think The Authority is winning this, even though I could see it going either way. I don't buy Triple H being ostracized from power unless he actually goes down in the ring himself, and he isn't even wrestling in this match. That, along with a couple of other (obvious) reasons that I don't feel like typing out at this present time.

Personally, I still have a glimmer of hope that Lesnar vs Cena will happen at TLC, and if that's the case, maybe Hunter will call upon Brock to help his team win, and the match will end with Lesnar appearing out of nowhere and putting Cena down to ensure The Authority get the victory, which in turn will set up Brock and Cena for next month's PPV. (Yeah, like that has any chance of happening... oh well, it never hurts to have a little faith. Except when your faith ends up being proven wrong, of course.)

I don't know, this doesn't seem right. I have a hard time seeing the Authority go down like this, and what, like 5 guys taking some time off due to being "fired"? Nah. Well, maybe they do get fired but start showing up every show and disrupting stuff or something like that, idk.

Yeah, that could be a definite possibility.. if The Authority does win they will still be involved in the storyline somehow.. even while being fired.
