The Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York is advertising these matches for the Raw house show on May 11th, 2012:

*CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match for the WWE Championship

*John Cena & Zack Ryder vs. Primo & Epico for the WWE Tag Team Championship

It would be an interesting Tag Team. Obviously, Ryder will end up forgiving Cena for the whole Eve thing. And they'll go after the Tag Titles, which i'd be happy about. As it would keep Cena out of the WWE Title picture again.

Seem kinda weak but if it keeps both of them from chasing better more relevant titles I guess I'm ok with it.

I think this is great as it makes the tag titles more relevant for John Cena of all people to be going for them and it builds another team plus it would mean that the WWE have faith in CM Punk to hold the top spot at the moment.

No Cena heel turn at Mania, then.

If Cena was going to turn I imagine it would have been done with Eve. Cena could have been all you wanna use me I'll use you to big ole make out session.

It's just I assumed this "embrace the hate" stuff would lead somewhere, most likely to a similar finish to Wrestlemania 17.

I was wrong.

Just when it seemed like the ball was rolling for Primo & Epico.

But anyway I wouldn't mind this, but May 11th is a while away. They'll have to maintain interest in the Eve-Ryder thing with Cena getting pulled back in. Just seems they're trying to book this angle around Rock/Cena and it just seems kinda clumsy.

Subject always due to change, next thing we'd know it'd be Ryder and someone else.

or could they be leading to a Cena/Ryder program where they have to team up? (Think Cena/Batista)

Either way, don't like the fact Cena will be going for a tag title, however it's a house show so Epico & Primo will still hold the belts.

Man I wanna see that 2 out of 3 falls match with Punk and Dolph.

But anyways I wouldn't mind it. Wasn't really expecting Cena to actually turn heel at mania or anything just see it being like Hogan/Rock where Cena earns Rock's respect. But who knows maybe they will swerve the hell out of us and give us a heel Cena.

I really don't know about this. I certainly didn't expect that just over a month after facing The Rock at WM that Cena will be in the tag team division. I would have thought that WWE would have better long term plans for him. I mean I am all for adding another tag team to the division I just expected WWE to have something interesting planned for Cena once he is finished with The Rock.

It's probably a back up it might not even lead to anything full time on TV, mabey he chases the tag titles for a month or two then feuds with ryder and moves back to the WWE title picture

As PHX stated the other match in the report is much more interesting.

Ryder should just forgive Cena already since Ryder is booked like a major chump. Teaming them up is a waste, though. If they are going to feud to build Ryder more, I'm fine with that. Just don't need to do it over the tag titles which they are finally building around a real team. The titles still mean nothing and aren't worthy of PPV matches but they are headed in the right direction. Hopefully my opinion can get the chance to evolve by May with the titles being more important based off good defenses.

I don't really see this report making any sense, maybe it was an old description sent to them by WWE. I dunno and I don't care, I don't want Ryder on my screen anyway. He is too corny for me, he oversells most the time and he can't wrestle that good.
