Cena wins, lol. It's fine by me as long as Seth's coming in afterwards and cashing in!

Too bad he'd just lose the title right back to Cena before the end of the year, officially making Cena a 17-time world champion and the official holder of the most world championships in history.

I can unfortunately see just that very thing happening, especially since it would make Reigns look all the better if/when he defeats Cena for the title at Wrestlemania next year.

But at least he'd win it, well I hope he does cash it in, instead of getting buried like Sandow, which was a shame... I'd much rather see Ambrose/Rollins feud for the WWE-WHC than Cena/Reigns, but it is what it is...

Let's face it, Cena'll probably get to 20 championship reigns before he retires. He's held it for what, like 5 times since 2010? Not only will he even Flair's record, but he'll surpass it and probably get to 20 before he's officially retired... Which blows. Guy's been so bland and stale since like 2006/07. Heel Cena ruled, babyface Cena just sucks.

I'm not too terribly upset with Cena breaking Flair's record since I've known for a long time that that was bound to happen. I mostly just hate the thought of him defeating Brock Lesnar again and Rollins having such a short reign after cashing in. I'd love for Rollins to keep the strap awhile, but unless they planned for the WWE Title match for Wrestlemania 31 to be Rollins vs Reigns vs Ambrose (which they aren't), then he isn't keeping it more than a month or two this first time around with the title, which makes it kinda hard for me to get excited over a cash-in.

You know, I must be the only one around here that dislikes the idea of a "rematch clause" A champion loses his/her title and then the person decides that they are entitled to a rematch because they have it in their contract. No. When you lose a title, you should have to start at the bottom of the main event scene, midcard, tag team, whatever, and work your way back up to the title picture and hope you're next in line after paying your dues all over again. When Bruno lost his title, he never got a rematch for the title immediately after losing the title. It wasn't until almost three years later that he got a shot and won the title again. Same with The Undertaker, who it took almost six years to get another shot and win. Angle also never got rematch clauses. The wrestlers I have the most respect for are the ones who work their way back up to a title match after an unsuccessful title defense. Basically what I'm trying to say here is that rematch clauses are slowly killing the prestige of each title.

I agree with the automatic rematch clause, but don't think it's hurting the prestige of both belts as much as it would be a whole lot more interesting if the former challenger either had to earn a shot... or just get handed one on TV since nobody will really notice anyway. Plus if they really want the midcard belts to be a stepping stone (lol) you don't have to eat 3 jobs to the same guy to get it off of you.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of them doing this rematch right away. Gives Cena time off to sell the asskicking of a lifetime, but... then again, this is the one time Cena's slogans actually meant something. He doesn't give up, he doesn't surrender, he can take this asskicking and keep on fighting, just like he says. It's amazing how much better the Cena character is when there's actual odds to overcome.

Then again that would lead to 16 times and not a single person wants to see that either lol, and the old school fans would flip for that historic moment to be forgotten after a cashin lol

It is a scripted show. Do you get mad when people celebrate the death of a character on a TV show?

Cena losing is refreshing because we never see it.
Very good analogy and well stated.
To be honest, it's in poor taste to celebrate anybody's death. I wouldn't say I get mad, but to 'celebrate' somebody's death is disgusting.
We can have a logical discussion on whether somebody deserves the death penalty. I am not against the 'deserving' of death.
I'm not against capitol punishment. Death is a consequence of actions, it is not something to celebrate.

Your take of Cena's loss being refreshing cause you never see it, is a far more intelligent reason than what I've read prior.
I didn't like the match because it very deliberately screws a person's neck. Cena agreed to it, I still don't. That's my take.

I'm actually glad that the rematch is happening. It makes sense. Cena should or would most likely have a rematch clause and for him to not use it would make him look weaker than what he already does. I feel that Cena should put up a hard fought battle this time. Hit at least 2 AA's, break out of Kumara's and kick out of an F5. Brock should have to do something drastic to put him away like F5 him through the announce table....or german suplex him on it and then bring him in the ring again and hit another F5. That's how it should end....I think....giving Cena a better fight but losing with dignity...showing that Brock can come close to losing.

I'm not really sure about Lesnar winning again. I mean he already decimated him at SummerSlam and we already know Cena doesn't take 2 big clean wins over him in a row. This one is a little iffy IMO.
Yeah, I feel yeah man. Idk if Cena will win or lose this one....it's a big toss up. If he comes back and wins, however. I think it'll make Brock look like joke....I mean he did 2 things in one year that no one could come close to doing--ending The Streak and literally beating the living hell out of John Cena to the point where he couldn't mount any offense. If Cena comes back from this and wins....I'll be very upset.

When Cena lost to The Rock, for example, at Mania 28, he actually put a fight and was dominating The Rock most of the match. The Rock seemingly got lucky and hit a Rockbottom last minute to win. Cena being able to bounce back and win made sense.

When Cena fought Edge at Backlash in a Last Man Standing match. He was destroying Edge most of the match and was going to win then Big Show chokeslammed him through the light. Again, Cena coming back from this loss and winning makes sense.

Cena losing to Triple H at Night Champions. Back and forth action and in the end Triple H hit one last Pedigree and won. Makes sense for Cena to have a big comeback win.

Cena losing to Sheamus. Again, a back and forth type of match. Cena seemed to be dominating most of the match then he made a mistake and Sheamus won. Cena coming back makes sense.

Are you getting my drift yet? I got all these matches from WWE.com, too, on their homepage. They're advertising it as if this loss to Brock was a similar thing. It wasn't, not at all. Cena was DOMINATED. No interference. No one else . . . . he lost in the worst fashion. Maybe WWE is trying to do something different with Cena, while at the same time pushing Brock to be the biggest heel of all time. Maybe Cena will at Night of Champions, enabling him to overcome his biggest loss yet.

I can see both sides of Cena winning or losing, I just personally feel that Cena should lose. This is a loss for Cena unlike anything else we've seen and for him to bounce back from this and win, makes no sense. This is also a good opportunity for someone else to step up and win, like Roman or when DB comes back.

DB won't be back for a LONG time it seems (see my latest post in the DB thread). Even past January as first predicted.

Brock can reign till then.....doubt he will....but it could happen. DB comes back to fight the beast at the Rumble and almost beats him (Borck almost taps out the YES lock)....DB then enters in at number 30 in the RR match and wins....going onto Mania to face Brock. Reigns feuds with The Rock or Cena one on one....YES!!!
