While speaking to F4WOnline.com recently, TNA President Dixie Carter noted that a lot of changes are coming to Impact Wrestling, particularly where the presentation of the show is concerned. Carter revealed that she had met with SpikeTV officials the day before, and while she could not reveal any specific details, a transformation will be taking place soon and will include "format changes and new elements." Carter added that the company's focus will be on developing young talent.

As far as Bruce Prichard is concerned, Carter noted that he has returned to work after suffering a small heart attack. Carter said Prichard had lost 31 pounds and was scheduled for heart surgery prior to the heart attack.

Wonder what it could be..

I've seen a lot claims like this from Dixie Carter but usually they don't go anywhere. I think last time it was a change in the set to the light blue which didn't change the overall product.

I was thinking the same thing they never seem to make the changes they actually need.

She's always saying things like this but they never happen or happen for long, still it will be interesting to see what they have planned

If you're gonna focus on younger talent, get rid of Sting, I don't think he's ever put a young guy over.

The change is probably going to be a bigger titantron.

Yeah.

I stopped listening after that one 'mega huge announcement that will change the face of wrestling' turned out to be Tommy Dreamer signing with them.

Sting doesn't put over or bury young talent. Take his championship reign last year, that could be considered as burying young talent, but he really only defended against older guys, which wasn't really burying younger guys, but sure as hell wasn't putting them over either. Sting should not be wrestling, but I liked him as GM. Get rid of Hogan and Bischoff (both of them) and the politics they bring with them.

Yeah, Sting over the last few months has helped Roode's heel emergence. I can't argue with that but still think they could have gone another way.

But he did that wrestling what? 2 matches? I'm perfectly fine with that, but I don't want him to be an active competitor anymore, and that seems the way they are going.
