Backlash Carmella vs. Charlotte...

Carmella needs to win this match? She’s been booked as a joke because she IS a joke. Should’ve never won MITB or had a successful cash-in. If you really want fans to continue to take the women’s division more seriously, then Carmella should tap to Charlotte in a 3-5min squash & become an eye candy valet/“manager” ... that is, if WWE MUST employ this woman. The only way she ever draws a dime is if she makes Paige-esque videos. She’s using up in-ring time that could belong to Asuka, Sasha, Baylee, etc. Shit, even Natalya Neidfart. (Maybe an ideal gimmick for Carmella)

Becky Lynch would be perfect. They should've ran with her push when she became the #1st ever Smackdown Women's Champion.. but then Alexa Bliss happened and derailed her push completely.. Becky can work good matches, cut decent promos and has a great look.. Her ring attire is very awkward though, but that's nothing.

I don't understand why they won't do anything with her. Maybe she has backstage heat with somebody.

I see the comparisons between Carmella/Summer as you mentioned, but Carmella is slightly better than Summer Rae.. Summer seemed completely useless. Carmella can carry an in-ring segment by herself at least.

These managers in NXT like Carmella and Alexa Bliss seem to be a step behind everyone else when it comes to in-ring skill.. NXT really helps people improve in the ring and they didn't have that much experience to get better. Plus, no indy experience either. No wonder they suck in the ring.. Now they have to worry about improving on the main roster which is probably so much more difficult.

The problem is Carmella has been booked so poorly that
her pinning basically anyone else on the roster in a clean
1 on 1 match just wouldn't work.

Like I keep pointing out...Carmella has won only 6 televised
singles matches in the last 16 months...

3 were against jobbers...which she won thanks to her pet Blobfish...
1 was against Naomi...again thanks to the Blobfish...
1 was a clean 1 on 1 victory against Naomi...Wow!

Of course her cash in was number 6...

Her win/loss record is terrible..and its the booking teams fault.

They could have had Carmella score clean wins over Tamina,
Lana, Natalya, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Becky
Lynch over a space of 2 to 3 months to at least build her up
a little bit & give her some momentum...but they didn't do that.

She pinned Becky Lynch in a tag match at Fastlane & then
pinned Naomi on SDL...and that was it...and then...she cashed
in after the IIconics basically did all the work for her.

My main gripe is that we now have 4 incredibly talented women
on SDL...Charlotte, Becky, Asuka & Naomi...and I'm sure any
combination of those 4 women would provide an exciting &
high quality title match...but now the WWE is using this time
to push Carmella?

Frankly...its fucking awful timing.

I want the women's division to put on the best possible title matches
they can...and with Carmella & Nia Jax as Champions...we won't be
seeing any high quality title matches any time soon.

Sure maybe Charlotte vs. Carmella will be great...but I'm not holding
my breath...and watching Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss Mk.II will most likely
be another painful sit...unless they let Nia squash the little bully in 2
minutes....but I doubt that will happen...because Alexa Bliss has been
protected better than any other woman on the roster.

Did you know it took Charlotte longer to defeated Alexa Bliss than it
did for her to defeat Asuka...

Did you know Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks in 5 minutes...but it took
her 10 minutes to defeat Alexa Bliss...

Its a fucking joke...

Put the SDL title on Charlotte, Asuka or Becky...
&
Put the RAW title on Sasha, Ruby or Ember...

And let the Championships mean more than just
being a sparkling prop.

Of course that's just what I want to see.
