According to F.A statement.

Seems pretty obvious that the bulldog faced tax evader is gonna get the job now just in time for the Euros, and I'd like that to happen too, being an Arsenal fan and hoping Spurs go down, and all.

Thoughts?

Harry will get interviewed and say he can't take the job till the summer as he's focusing on Spurs "title challenge" and we'll end up with someone in the interim like Stuart Pearce.

Hahaha.

I'm from England, but don't support the team. As such, I find trouble in the national team vastly entertaining. Hopefully Redknapp takes over and the team crash out in the first round of the Euros.

Thank fuck for that, Capellos awful. I think we'll get an interim manager till the summer where Redknapp will take over but only for the Euros. Then I think we'll get someone like Darren Ferguson with him being the son of SAF. Imagne Mourinho whos out of Madrid at the end of the season.

I didn't say I want it to happen, I said I think it will happen with this new young policy there doing? My preference, I'd like Martin O'Neill, Chris Kamara or Alan Pardew

Considering what he did for us at Bradford, i'd mark the fuck out for Kammy. But seriously, Darren Ferguson & Chris Kamara? Where the hell are you pulling these names out from? There's more chance of Jurgen Klinnsman becoming manager than those two.

I want Chris Kamara because then, even if we do bad, it'd still be awesome.

Harry is the obvious choice. But it's whether the FA can arrange something with Spurs to lend him to them for the Euro's.

Guus Hiddink is apparently interested in the job too. But the majority of people want an English man/Harry to be the next England manager.

Guus Hiddink would be a really good choice. He took Australia back to the World Cup in 06 and he managed to get Korea to 4th in 02. Would be a good choice but the issue is he is a foreigner and so probably won't get it.

I can't believe that the idea of Redknapp taking over just for the Euros is even being considered. We either get him full-time or not at all, the FA would be right back where they started other wise. I have no doubt that Redknapp will see out the season with Spurs and then make the switch and then it will be perminant one. The only issue I would have is that he wouldn't have long to work with the squad ahead of the championships.
