Rydog posted his match but he's banned. So just post your match in the same thread Rydog posted it. You are basically Rydog in his tournament, taking the same opponent and stuff.

Your opponent is Michael1. Just post your match in that thread

Backstory: For months TNA and WWE feuded on all 4 shows until both companys decided that enough was enough and it would be settled at Survivor Series, the company that comes out with the most victories will survive with the other doing out of business forever.

One of the matches is team WWE taking on team TNA in a traditional survivor series match. Team WWE consisting of Captain Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Evan Bourne, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Team TNA consisting of Captain A.J Styles, Christopher Daniels, Sonjay Dutt and the Latin American Exchange.

The main Event of the Smackdown before Survivor
Series is the two team captains taking on each other
in singles action with both teams trying to gain the
upper hand, to make things more exciting Styles
convinced Benjamin to put his United States Title on
the line.

Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. A.J Styles
United States title match

"I Am" blasts through the speakers as the camera circles the Arena looking for Styles.

Foley: Once again Styles refusing to come out like the rest of the TNA superstars.

Tenay: Mick, AJ is TNA through and through and he belives he is disrespecting the TNA name by coming out of a WWE entrance.

The camera stops on a stair way as Styles is seen standing there with his arm held out to his sides and the X division title draped over his shoulder. Styles starts to walk down the steps as fans pat him on the back.

JR: Fans behind Styles here.

Foley: I guess there are people out there who don't respect the legacy of WWE.

Tenay: The facts are simple, TNA is better than WWE and these fans know it.

Styles reaches the barrier and climbs on top of it as he looks spots a sign saying "WWE scared of TNA" Styles walks the barriers and takes the sign holding
it up high as pockets of the fans start a "TNA...TNA...TNA" chant. Styles leaps off the barrier as

"Ain't No Stoppin me now" blasts through the speakers as he storms out from the back accompanied by Carlito. Benjamin slides into the and walks straight up to Styles and butts heads with Styles. The ref jumps in and splits them up, sending them to opposite corners.

Justin Roberts: This match is scheduled for 1 fall and is for the United Staes championship. First representing Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, he is the X division champion hailing for Gainesville Georgia. This is A.J Styles.

Styles turns round and climbs the turnbuckle holding his X division title high. Styles drops to the mat and hands his title over and removes his jacket.

Justin Roberts: Next representing WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT he is the current and defending United states Champion. He comes to you tonight from Orangeburg, South Carolina. This is SHELTON BENJAMIN!

Benjamin holds his arm up before unstrapping the belt from his waist and handing it to the ref. Both men come to the center off the ring as the ref holds the belt high before handing it to Justin Roberts as he exits the ring.

The ref signals for the bell and Benjamin backs towards his corner, Styles however spits in the center of the ring before backing to his corner, Benjamin charges at Styles who ducks a clothesline attempt before quickly turning and pushing Benjamin into the corner were Styles unleashes a flurry off forearm strikes to the head of Benjamin, Benjamin gets his legs up and slides them between the ropes forcing the break. The ref forces the Styles back but Styles pushes him out off the way and runs hitting a leaping forearm smash, Styles grabs the head of Benjamin and flips him forward into a seated position. Styles kneels down and grabs the arms off Benjamin pulling them back as he drives his knee into the back of Benjamin, Benjamin tries to fight out of the hold but Styles applies more pressure on the back until Carlito runs round and grabs the boot of Styles which makes him break the hold. Styles stares at Carlito but turns around and is punched in the stomach by Benjamin , Styles replies with a slap to the face of Benjamin. Benjamin gets to his feet and chops the chest of Styles who replies with a knife edge chop to the chest of Benjamin , Benjamin hits a second chop and Styles replies with a punch which is blocked by Benjamin who hits a third chop before grabbing the arm of Styles and pushing him back towards the rope before whipping him across the ring and into the ropes, Styles comes charging back at Benjamin who drives his knee into the stomach of Styles, Styles leans over holding his stomach and as he stands up straight Benjamin jumps forward hitting a neck breaker, pinfall 1.. kickout. Benjamin gets to his feet before dropping down and driving his knee into the face of Styles, Benjamin guides Styles back to his feet and whips him into the ropes, AJ holds onto the ropes and Benjamin charges but Styles quickly spins his legs through the ropes and gets out of the way, Styles hits the shoulder block through the ropes and slingshots over the top of him looking for a sunset flip pin but Benjamin holds on to the ropes, Styles flops about trying to get Benjamin down, Benjamin then lets go of the rope and Styles rolls him up for the pin but Benjamin has to much momentum and rolls right through and gets to his feet before kicking Styles in the chest, Styles turns on to his chest and leans on the bottom rope as Benjamin gets to his feet before standing on the back of Styles neck choking him on the rope, 1.....2.....3.....4... Benjamin gets off Styles and the ref warns him, whilst the ref is warning Benjamin however Carlito runs round the ring and pulls down on Styles neck as Benjamin distracts the ref. Carlito releases the hold as Benjamin moves to the side of the ref and charges booting Styles in the back of the head., Benjamin looks out at the crowd before pulling Styles into the center off the ring and drives his boot into the side of Styles chest, Benjamin walks round styles and drives his boot into the side of Styles chest again, Benjamin pulls Styles to his feet and drives his elbow into the back of Styles neck, Benjamin runs and bounces off the ropes and goes for a swinging neckbreaker but Styles has other plans and counters it and spins round before kicking Benjamin in the stomach and setting up for a Styles Clash, Styles hooks the waist and pulls Benjamin up but with no success and Benjamin gets his feet back on the mat, Styles pulls Benjamin up again and again with no success, Benjamin feet hit the mat and Benjamin over powers Styles taking him over head and driving him into the mat whilst arching the back for the pin 1..2.. kickout.

Tenay: What was that?
JR: I have know idea what your talking about Mike.
Tenay: The ref blatantly made a quick count.

Benjamin picks Styles up and tosses him into the corner, Benjamin puts a boot in before going to the opposite corner, Benjamin charges at Styles before jumping and hitting a stinger splash, Benjamin quickly to the corner again and charges before jumping looking for a second stinger splash but Styles ducks and runs to the middle of the ring as Benjamin’s head hits a ring post, Benjamin woozy from hitting the post turns round in the corner and is met by a leaping forearm smash by Styles. Benjamin stumbles out of the corner holding onto the top rope as Styles bounces off the ropes and comes at Benjamin with a clothesline sending Benjamin to the outside, Styles goes to the middle off the ring clenching his fists and screaming into a camera before holding the back off his head. On the outside Carlito sees to Benjamin, Styles bounces off the ropes and hitting a suicide dive through the middle and top rope taking down Carlito and Benjamin. Styles gets to his feet and picks up Carlito only to toss him into the steel steps, Styles then turns his attention to Benjamin who is pulling himself up by the ring, Styles walks over and bounces Benjamin’s head off the ring canvas, Styles rolls into the ring to break the refs count which was up to 5. Styles rolls back out and goes to corner of ring apron and starts to pull on it till it tears away, Styles rips the apron before using it to blow his nose, Styles then takes the apron and wraps it around the neck of Benjamin which draws the ref out of the ring and he pulls Styles away from Benjamin. Styles turns round and punches the ref cleanly in the jaw knocking him to the floor.

Foley: That’s a disqualification right there.
Tenay: It was obviously a accident, Styles must of thought it was Carlito.
Foley: Non the less he hit a official and must be disqualified.

Styles leans over and checks on the but as he stands up straight Carlito hits him with the Backcracker, Carlito leans over the flailing body of Styles as he takes a bite of his apple and readies himself to spit it in the face of Styles when Christopher Daniels leaps over the barrier and blindsides Carlito, Both men start trading blows as Evan Bourne, Paul London and Brian Kendrick race down the ramp to back up Carlito, London and Kendrick brawl with Daniels as Bourne pulls the Apron of Benjamin to reveal his face covered in blood, Bourne rolls Benjamin into the ring as LAX and Sonjay Dutt Run down and help Daniels. As members of team WWE and TNA brawl up the ramp towards the back Sonjay Dutt slides in the ring and Bourne pounces on him clubbing his back, Dutt fights back and gets to his feet, Dutt hits a huge uppercut and then runs and bounces off the ropes and hits a pinning headscissors takedown. Dutt pulls Bourne into position near the middle off the ring, Dutt climbs the turnbuckle facing the crowd he positions himself before looking down at Styles getting up slowly holding his back, Dutt stands up straight when Benjamin nips-up and runs jumping onto the top ropes and hitting a release German suplex which sends Dutt flying back whilst flipping in the air and landing on Bourne as if he had performed a moonsault. Benjamin leans on the top rope with blood slowly pouring from a cut on his forehead, when Styles gets up on the ring before slingshotting in and hitting a ddt on Benjamin, pinfall ..............

Foley: The ref is down. Serves him right for hitting the ref earlier in the match.
Tenay: 1...2...3. Styles would have won, Styles would have won.
JR: Calm down Mike.

A second ref runs down the ramp straight past the men brawling and Bourne and Dutt laid down on the outside. Pinfall 1...2.. Kickout. The ref holds up his hand signaling a 2 count as Styles looks up in shock, Styles pulls Benjamin to his feet and sets him up for the Styles Clash, Styles hold his arms out before picking Benjamin up and planting him on the mat with the Styles Clash! Roll through for the pin, 1....2....3.

Tenay: He did it. The ref counted slow but he did it, Team TNA go in to survivor Series with the momentum behind them and the WWE United States title in their possession.

JR: Oh shut your mouth Mike, TNA will go out just the way WCW did all those years ago.

Styles gets to his feet and the ref raises his arm and hands both belts to AJ Styles, Styles gets on the turnbuckle and holds both belts up when Carlito slides in the ring and goes to get Styles but Styles spots him and leaps down and clocks Carlito with the United States tiles Styles pulls Carlito next to Shelton and lays the US belts across both of them and spits on it as the rest of Team TNA get in the ring and hoist their Captain up on the shoulders on Hernandez. Hernandez circles the ring with Styles on his shoulders as Homicide kicks Carlito out of the ring. London and Kendrick pick him and Bourne up as the 4 men back up a bit Styles gets down of Hernandez shoulders and points at Benjamin. Hernandez picks up Benjamin and sets him up for the Bordertoss, Hernandez runs towards the ropes and tosses Benjamin on top of team WWE as the rest of the men climb the turnbuckles.

The camera zooms in on the US title with spit on it as Smackdown goes of the air.

Monday 30th, June saw history be made, when CM Punk cashed in MITB on Edge, bringing back the World Heavyweight Championship. Inmediately, top contenders threw his hat to challenge him. John Cena was one of them. However, John Cena quite never got his one on one match against the champion. Great American Bash saw Batista challenge, Summerslam gave Cena a chance, but in Triple Threat way as he and JBL faced Punk. Many others challenge the incredible reign of CM Punk, but John Cena wouldn't get his chance until No Way Out. However, his match ended in a DQ victory when one man interfered...The Undertaker.

PPV before No Way Out was the Royal Rumble, that saw 30 angry competitors looking for a main event match at Wrestlemania 25. Last 3 men were John Cena, The Undertaker and Triple H. Taker had been campaigning for his victory, and backing it up with destruction. However, his Wrestlemania main event dreams were crushed as he was eliminated by John Cena. Triple H would go to challenge Edge at Wrestlemania, and so Cena challenged Punk at NWO for a one on one match, that saw the revenge of The Undertaker happen.

And so, this match was made. Two men scorned after being screwed of title matches, and most importantly, the chance of entering Wrestlemania as the World Champion. What will go down when this two battle with honor...and the streak are on the line?

Wrestlemania 25
The Undertaker
vs
John Cena

As soon as the bell rings, The Undertaker goes on attack mode and takes his boxing like offensive position. He advances toward John Cena, trying to measure him and finding a spot in which he can introduce one of his fists. The Undertaker continues advancing toward his opponent, forcing John Cena to start backing down, trapping himself into a corner. Taker finally has his opponent right where he wants him and starts nailing him with a series of straight right hands to the face and then mixes it with body shots, weakening John Cena. The referee finally steps in and he goes toward the corner where Taker is attacking Cena, and he takes the Deadman away, forcing him to separate from Cena. Cena slowly separates himself from the corner rubbing his middle section shaking off the pain of the shots, now that The Undertaker has been taken away by the referee. Taker and Cena then start circling each other, with Taker maintaining his offensive posture. John invites his opponent to bring it, and The Deadman listens to him, as he immediately advances toward his opponent. Taker goes to connect Cena with a big clothesline, however John is able to duck it and to a big amount of boos from the crowd, John nails his opponent with a huge straight right hand to the head of Taker. The Deadman staggers over his feet and John repeats the punishment, nailing his rival with another powerful bomb like straight right hand to the head of his opponent. John grabs his opponent by the arm and goes to Irish Whip him toward the ring ropes, however when going to be thrown away, Taker counters grabbing the arm of his opponent and passing the arm over his head, locking a wristlock. He keeps the maneuver in and he then starts nailing clubs to the clavicle of his opponent, hurting the arm of his opponent. Taker twists it once again, making John scream in pain, then showing his brute power, he lifts his opponent up high, where he keeps him for a couple of seconds, until he then returns him down to the canvas still holding the arm of his opponent. He finally ends the flurry of offense as he snapmares his opponent down to the canvas, extends the arm of John Cena, and nails him with a leg drop right across the arm.

The Undertaker makes the cover forcing the arm of Cena against his own chest: 1…2…, Cena is able to lift his opposite shoulder. Taker gets his hair out of his face and gets back to his feet going to continue his offense. He grabs Cena by the head and slowly guides him back to a standing position, until he nails him with a big straight right hand weakening him. Cena battles to remain standing and then staggers back close to The Undertaker, that nails him once again with a straight right fist directed to the head of Cena. John Cena trembles over his standing position, but then recovers his balance, only to walk right back to The Undertaker, that receives him with a headbutt that hurls John Cena back toward the ring ropes. John Cena bounces back from the ropes and out of nowhere seems to have gotten an adrenaline rush, as he increases his speed and leaps in front of The Undertaker nailing him with his football like tackle. Both men get back to their feet and John Cena runs once again toward The Undertaker going to plant him once again with a tackle, however when he jumps going to make impact with his opponent, Taker absorbs the impact as he catches him by the throat, then with a maniacal look on his eyes he stares at Cena face to face, as he chokes the life out of him. He throws the arm of Cena above his own setting him up for the Chokeslam, however before The Deadman can go any further John Cena reacts and he drives his elbow one, twice to the jaw of The Undertaker forcing his opponent to release the throat of the Chain Gang leader from his grasp. Immediately John Cena dashes to the ring ropes in front of him and behind the Deadman, then bounces back and nails his bended opponent with the Throwback. John Cena feels the momentum going on his favor now and he taunts to the crowd lifting both his arms. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction, but getting more boos than cheers. John Cena then continues the match as he walks toward the corner, then climbs to the ropes and there waits for his opponent to incorporate a bit.

The Undertaker gets back to his feet, yet not completely, but in a bended position. Immediately, John Cena leaps from the top rope looking to his leg drop to the back of the neck of The Undertaker, however The Deadman is able to sidestep out of the way right on time making his opponent fail. John Cena takes his time getting back to his fee, as he remains on the canvas resenting his thigh thanks to the failed maneuver. He finally gets back to his feet and walks right toward The Undertaker, that receives him with a straight right hand that lands hard against the head of Cena. Cena is groggy, and Taker nails him with a second straight right hand that threatens to send John down to the canvas. Taker then showing his smarts nails a big straight right hand directed to the arm of his opponent, retaking the punishment he earlier delivered on it. Taker grabs it and once again twists it over his head in a wristlock, however before The Deadman is able to completely twists his opponent, John Cena uses his free hand to reach and grab his own other hand, and in a demonstration of his power, he rips the hand of The Undertaker away from his, freeing himself from the hold of his opponent. John then delivers a toe kick to the middle section, and he dashes toward the ring ropes behind of him. John comes right back to where his opponent is in full speed, however The Undertaker once again outsmarts him and sidesteps, then using Cena’s own momentum throws him toward the ring ropes, and onto the outside of the ring. John lands hard and appears to have hurt himself on the landing as he holds his arms with a pain expression. John makes his way back to his feet slowly but surely. Inside the ring, The Undertaker stares at him, measuring him. He then runs to the ropes behind him, bounces back and runs crossing the ring, and when reaching the opposite side of the ring he leaps over the ropes and lands John Cena on the outside of the ring with a huge, an very cheered flying clothesline from the ring to the outside. The Undertaker and John Cena lay side by side on the outside of the ring, as the referee checks on both of them from the inside of the ring.

The Undertaker finally starts making his way back to his feet. He fully recovers his standing position and grabs John Cena by the head, then guides him back to his feet. He nails him with another headbutt weakening his opponent once again. He grabs him by the arm and Irish Whips John Cena toward the steel steps, to which against Cena clashes shoulder first. Taker hears the count of the referee already reaching 6, and so, he rolls to the inside of the ring. The referee tries to stop The Undertaker and keep him on the inside of the ring, however The Undertaker pushes him away avoiding him from stopping him and rolls right back to the outside of the ring. He grabs Cena and throws him back to the ring, with his upper body sticking out on the apron. The Undertaker climbs using the steps to the apron. He takes impulse running on the apron and then nails John Cena right across the chest and throat with his classic leg drop. Cena contorts in pain but remains on apron. Taker pushes his head and Cena’s entire body to the interior of the ring. He slides back to the ring and makes the cover: 1…2…, Cena gets one shoulder up. Taker gets back to his feet not showing any emotion on his face, and grabbing Cena by the arm pulls him back to his feet. Taker then continues unloading the soupbones, nailing shots both to the head and to the arm of his opponent. The punches stagger John toward the corner, in which he remains trapped. The Deadman takes impulse going to the opposite side of the ring, and after a while of measuring, he dashes toward his opponent on the opposite side of the ring. However, right on the nick of time John Cena gets out of the way making The Undertaker fail his running body splash. The Undertaker staggers back from the corner walking right into Cena, that kicks him in the middle section and nails him with his Fisherman Suplex, shades of the Perfectplex. John Cena makes the cover: 1….2…, The Undertaker kicks out.

John Cena gets back to his feet and goes back to the slug fest on his opponent, nailing him with straight right hands. He plants him with a second straight hand and it is followed with a third straight hand. Cena goes for a fourth punch, that effectively lands, however The Undertaker then connects him with a straight right hand of his own, Cena answers back however The Undertaker quickly follows up with a big fist of his own. The crowd quickly gets into the exchange, heavily booing when John Cena lands his punches and popping when The Undertaker connects his straight right hands. The slug fest between both competitors is strong, as Taker and John Cena are throwing bombs at each other. Their exchange starts to increase its speed, as Cena and Taker land straight right hand after straight hand with more and more intense. The Undertaker, to a big amount of cheers from the audience as Taker gains the upperhand in the exchange, managing to connect one, then two, and then three consecutive straight hands. He then goes for a clothesline, however John Cena ducks the attack making his opponent fail, and in the midst of a large crowd reaction coming from the wild exchange of blows, Cena hits his twisting belly to belly side slam. Cena gets back up and looks around the audience, soaking in the crowd reaction. He lifts his right arm, but instead of quickly going for the maneuver, he loses more valuable time getting distracted with the boos from the crowd. He finally bends going to do the “You can’t see me†taunt on Taker, however out of nowhere The Undertaker reacts and catches his opponent right on the throat, choking him once again. The Deadman returns to his standing position still grasping at the throat of his opponent. He is about to go for the Chokeslam, however Cena reacts raking the eyes of his opponent. Cena then, free of the hold of his opponent, runs to the ring ropes behind of him, however when he bounces back, The Undertaker catches him by the throat once again.

The Undertaker walks to the middle of the ring still grabbing Cena, and to a pop form the audience he nails John Cena with the Chokeslam. The Undertaker makes the cover: 1…2…, John Cena kicks out. Taker now has a look of frustration in his eyes. He gets back to his feet and after staring at the floored Cena, he goes toward him and picks him back to his feet. Soon he then gets him over his shoulders, walks toward the corner and drops Cena head first on the turnbuckle. Cena staggers back from the corner as The Undertaker dashes to the ring ropes behind of him, then bounces back looking to hit his normal big boot, however John Cena reacts first and he attacks him first planting him with his football tackle. Both get back to his feet and John Cena runs toward him nailing him once again with the tackle. Taker and John both get back to their standing position and Taker swings looking for a clothesline, but Cena ducks once again and then hits once again with his twisting side slam. Cena this time acts faster and quickly lifts his right arm, does the “You can’t see me†taunt on The Undertaker, then dashes to the ring ropes and bounces back hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle that lands completely. John Cena gets back to his feet and lifting both his arms doing the Chain Gang taunt. The crowd heavily boos him, causing John Cena to grin. The Undertaker starts making his way back to his feet. He finally recovers his standing position and he walks right into John Cena that tries to lift him over his shoulders and set him up for the FU, however, The Undertaker is able to slide out of the hold and back to a standing position behind John Cena. John turns around and gets kicked in the middle section, then lifted up in the air and planted by a Last Ride applied by The Undertaker. The Deadman makes the cover: 1…2…, Cena is able to kick out. The Undertaker seems a little surprised, but then manages to get back to his feet and as the expression in his face changes to a one of anger, he grabs John Cena and gets him up with him. The Undertaker attempts to get him up and set him in the Tombstone Piledriver position, however when Taker goes to lift him, Cena escapes from the hold, then returns to his standing position and drop toe holds his opponent down.

Cena floats over the body of The Undertaker, then hooks the leg of his opponent and locks his opponent inside the STFU, getting immediately a lot of boos from the audience. The Undertaker as never seen before growls in pain inside the hold, as John Cena drains and drains the momentum and energy out of the Deadman. The Taker has an expression of pain in his face. Taker crawls and crawls and finally, finally manages to reach to the ropes, grabbing the bottom one and forcing John Cena to release the hold. John Cena refuses to release the hold, and the referee interferes, physically breaking the hold as he takes John Cena away. John Cena confronts the referee, still fired up and loses sight from his opponent. Meanwhile, and getting a pop from the crowd as The Undertaker just sits up from the pain. He gets back to his feet and waits for Cena to turn around. John Cena continues arguing with the official until he finally turns around, going to, according to him, continue his offense, however, he walks right into The Undertaker, that lifts him up and to a big pop from the crowd, he sets him up and goes for the Tombstone Piledriver, which effectively connects. The Undertaker makes his classic cover putting both arms wrapped over the chest of his opponent, and sticks his tongue out in total confidence. The referee starts the count for the pinfall as the crowd counts with him in chorus: 1…2…, John Cena somehow manages to kick out!

The Undertaker has a look of confusion on his sight, as he is surprised with John Cena kicking out of the Tombstone. The Undertaker gets back to his feet and announces for a second Tombstone Piledriver, as he passes his thumb across his throat. He starts waiting for John Cena to get back to his feet, however he doesn’t do so and Taker loses his patience. He advances toward him and he picks him up himself, then sets him up in the Tombstone Piledriver position perfectly, however before he is able to connect it, John Cena is able to reverse the hold as he lays his weight backwards and causes The Undertaker to flip, and they end in an exact opposite position, with John Cena having The Undertaker in the Tombstone Piledriver position. Taker however counters once again in the same way Cena did it, and it’s back to original once again with him having John set up for the Tombstone Piledriver. However, the counters continue and the Chain Gang leader repeats his counter, ending with Taker on the Tombstone Piledriver position himself. However, he isn’t going for that maneuver, as he maneuvers Taker over his shoulders, ending with a lot of boos as he has Taker on the FU position. Cena grins and says something, then lands The Undertaker with the FU. John Cena makes the cover: 1…2…3.

Result: John Cena defeated The Undertaker.

King: What?

Cole: Has it, has it happened?

King: I can’t believe it Michael, 16 years we saw The Undertaker run wild over any opponent he has had in Wrestlemania, and now, it’s all over.

Cole: Each and everyone of us expected to see history be made here tonight, however, I am sure nobody quite expected to see the streak, the biggest streak in any form of sport, end here tonight.

King: And the man responsible is right there, John Cena.

CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle

Background

Up until Summer Slam 2008 Raw, Smackdown and ECW had basically been under the same umbrella. ECW on Sci-Fi was cancelled due to low ratings merged with Smackdown. Raw had always been known as the A Brand and any attempts to improve the other brands had either been throttled back or screwed up in some way. Shane McMahon watched as Raw continued to shine bright and ECW/Smackdown was consistently given the shaft. He sat back and watched thinking there was nothing he could do until he found a way to purchase ECW/Smackdown and run it as his own company effectively starting a brand war between Raw run by Vince McMahon and ECW/Smackdown run by Shane McMahon. For months Vince and Shane engaged in a heated battle for supremacy. At Armageddon Shane McMahon shocked the world by signing former TNA World Champion Kurt Angle to the ECW/Smackdown brand. Kurt Angle quickly picked up where he left off at defeating Triple H for the WWE title at the Royal Rumble. He retained the title in a triple threat match at No Way out against Triple H and Edge.

Meanwhile on the Raw side the World Heavyweight Title was the focal point of a huge feud between CM Punk and Batista. CM Punk had won the title from Edge by cashing in his money in the bank shot Raw the night after Night of Champions. Batista, a fan favorite for many years showed that he cared more about championship gold than friendship when he turned on CM Punk during a tag match against John Bradshaw Layfield and Chris Jericho. This lead to a match at Summerslam where Batista defeated CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title. Batista would dominate the Raw brand until No Way Out when he lost the title back to Royal Rumble winner CM Punk.

Two weeks before WrestleMania Linda McMahon on behalf of the board of directors ordered a cease and desist order for Shane McMahon to stop operating under his own umbrella. Shane refused saying ECW/Smackdown was the dominant brand and that Raw should cease and desist. This led to Vince McMahon coming out saying Raw was the dominant brand. Father and son argued for several minutes until finally Linda had enough and announced that at WrestleMania Raw would face off against Smackdown in a series of matches with the brand picking up the most victories being declared the true dominant brand. The stipulation was also added that the losing brand would cease to exist. The week prior to WrestleMania Kurt Angle made a surprise appearance on Raw attacking CM Punk knocking him out with a steel chair shot and locking in the Ankle Lock. Four days later on Smackdown CM Punk returned the favor interrupting a VIP Lounge with Kurt Angle as the special guest by coming in through the crowd and jumping Kurt from behind and hitting him with a GTS with the World title wrapped around his knee. At WrestleMania each brand picked up several victories leading to a 5-5 tie going into the main event which was a title vs. title match between CM Punk representing Raw and Kurt Angle representing ECW/Smackdown.

WrestleMania 25 Main Event
Raw Champion vs. Smackdown Champion
CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle

This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage plays in the arena as CM Punk makes his way to the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. CM Punk salutes the crowd at the top of the ringsteps, enters the ring and does his signature pose in the middle of the ring.

Jim Ross: We are moments away from one of the most historic matches in WWE history. The future of two brands rests on the shoulders of two men. Who will rise to the challenge and have his hand raised at WrestleMania?

Lillian Garcia: The following contest is the Main Event of WrestleMania 25! And this match is the deciding match in the battle for brand supremacy between Raw and ECW/Smackdown. Introducing first representing the Raw brand from Chicago, Illinois weighing in at 222 Pounds. He is the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk!

Jerry Lawler: CM Punk is about to wrestle the most important match of his career. The fate of the Raw brand is in his hands.

Jim Ross: You know the butterflies have gotta be doing backflips in his stomach right now.

Medal plays in the arena as Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring with the WWE Title around his waist and the Gold Medals around his neck. Kurt Angle walks with a purpose towards the ring but not before stopping half way to pose as his pyro goes off behind him. Kurt continues his intense walk to the ring. Once inside the ring Kurt Angle climbs on the middle turnbuckle and poses to the crowd.

Jim Ross: Here’s a man who is no stranger to pressure.

Jerry Lawler: Yeah you don’t win a Gold medal by collapsing under pressure.

Lillian Garcia: And his opponent representing ECW/Smackdown from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania weighing in at 250 pounds he is the WWE Champion and the only Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling history Kurt Angle!

Jim Ross: The time for talking is over. The WrestleMania 25 main event is only moments away.

CM Punk and Kurt Angle finally meet face to face in the center of the ring. The crowd is on its feet for this very historic contest. The referee relays last minute instructions to both men before calling for the bell.

The bell rings

Kurt Angle and CM Punk continue to stare at each other in the center of the ring exchanging heated words. Kurt Angle slaps CM Punk hard across the face in an attempt to psych him out. CM Punk just looks back at Kurt Angle holding the side of his face and smiles. Kurt Angle slaps him hard in the chest this time and dares CM Punk to do something. CM Punk contemplates slapping Kurt but instead drops down, grabs the leg of Kurt, pulls him off his feet and slaps him in the chest. Kurt Angle looks stunned for a moment. -----------------------------------------------------

Susan

1 Time UWWA Tag Champion

The Story

What history between these two women. Both women debuted around the same time, both looking to make an impact. Susan Duran, with her seemingly superhuman strength and ridiculous agility quickly propelled her though the ranks. Terri Athens, a master of manipulation and mind games, quickly capitalized on opportunity, relying on her skills and slyness to get her by. Throughout their careers within the UWWA, both of these women have been allies, partners, and even tag champions together. Susan was at Terri’s side when she won the belt, besting former champ Trish Stratus. Susan had Terri’s back during her feud with Chyna over the belt, and upon losing the belt in a Fatal Four way, Susan had been the difference maker in helping Terri regain the belt once more, intervening on Terri’s behalf. Powered by greed, Terri stood at the top of the mountain, a callus champion.

Susan managed to find her own success with singles gold by winning the Intercontinental Championship, after powering her way through the former champion Rebecca Knox. Susan was sure that her comrade would have her back during the title reign, but Terri showed her true colors when Susan was forced to defend the title against a vengeful and hateful Lilith. Susan managed to win the match after Lilith got herself DQ’ed but she was unable to stop Lilith from incapacitating her with a steel chair, as Lilith looked to do permanent damage to Susan. Terri attempted to intervene and stop Liltih, but instead she drew back and watched from the ramp as Lilith brutally beat Susan post match. The injuries that Susan sustained were so severe that she was forced to vacate the title. That was strike one for Susan.

The second strike came when Terri snapped after losing a non title match, and she blamed Susan for not having her back. Susan claimed that it strange that Terri assumed that she would be there for her when Terri had left her to be beaten at the hands of Lilith. Terri countered by saying that she could give a damn about Susan, she called Susan a servant, a dog chained to leash. Terri called Susan weak and that not capitalizing on all her advantages had made her weak. The argument caused a falling out between the two, but Terri predicted that Susan would be back. Terri soon had to put the title on the line against the toughest opponent that she had faced up to that point, Awesome Kong. Kong not only vowed to end Athens tyrannical reign as champion, but she vowed to take Athens out. The 260 lb behemoth made good on her word and dominated Terri during their match, but as Terri had predicted Susan returned, and used her unbelievable strength to take Kong out of the match with a Spear/ Demoralizer combo. Terri mended their relationship and the two were back as a team, wreaking havoc on the rest of the roster.

Their partnership proved to be short lived as Susan was soon entered into a tournament to determine the next contender for Terri’s title. Despite going into the tournament with lowered expectations and against Terri’s advisement, Susan won the tournament and title opportunity against Terri. The final straw for Susan came when Terri stated in an interview that Susan didn’t deserve a title shot against her. Terri admitted that her partnership with Susan had been a lie from the beginning, and that she honestly cared more about the title than their friendship.

At the contract signings before the match, Terri made an effort to try and get Susan to nullify her title contract by continuing to play mind games and berating Susan. Susan stated that she saw through the games and that she could she Terri for what she really was….. An egotistical, maniacal Bitch. Susan proceeded to put Terri through the debate table with a spinebuster, thus completing her face turn. Susan vowed to be the one to finally put Terri in her place and take her title. Susan stated in an interview that at the PPV, Terri will have nowhere to hide, and she won’t have anyone to cover for her. Susan stated that at the PPV, it’s just going to be her and Terri one on one.

The match

Torrie Wilson: Welcome all you loyal fans to Madison Square Garden! We promised you an awesome PPV and what a night it has been… but the best is yet to come… Terri Athens verses Susan Duran in what should be the women’s match of the century.

The restless crowd stands in anticipation, as they await the start of the championship match. “Ladies and gentlemen” by Saliva plays of the loudspeaker, marking the entrance of the challenger Susan Duran. The crowd gives her a standing ovation, showing her that they are firmly supporting her quest to dethrone Terri Athens and put her in her place.

Announcer: Introducing first, from Dallas Texas, weighing 180 lbs, the challenger, Susan Duran!

Susan enters the arena with a smile on her face. She stops and poses on the ramp as she takes in the atmosphere of the arena. Susan makes her way down the ramp, shaking hands and waving to the fans, showing them that she deeply appreciates their support.

Torrie Wilson: Susan came here with one thought on her mind…. Retribution

Sable: Susan is easily one of the most physically imposing women’s wrestlers that I have ever seen… anywhere. The strength that this woman possesses is nothing short of freakish. But, she’s going to need more than brute force if she expects to beat Terri here.

Susan enters the ring, and waits for the arrival of her former partner and friend, the champion, Terri Athens. “Clouds over California” by Devildriver plays over the loudspeaker signaling the arrival of the champ. Terri enters the arena to a chorus of boos, but as always she shrugs off the hostile welcome and raises her title belt above her head in a taunting manner as shower of gold pyro explodes at her side.

Announcer: And introducing from London, England, weighing 145 lbs, she is the current UWWA Champion, Terri Athens!

Torrie: You’d have to wonder if it’s by sheer force of luck that Terri has been able to keep the title this long…

Sable: Well why couldn’t she Torrie? Terri seems to have a counter for everything, and she has shown that she can hit the Black Diamond from just about any position and from out of nowhere. Susan will have to be on her toes in this match if she expects to win.

Terri enters the ring and locks eyes with Susan, as the two women engage themselves in a staredown battle. The two women stand eye to eye with each other, as Terri throws insults at Susan and raises the title above her head in a taunting fashion. Terri breaks the count again but shows her tenacity by rolling out of the ring and dragging Susan to the middle of the canvas, where she positions Susan’s head just outside the bottom rope. Terri pays little attention to the referee’s count as she elbows Susan in the face before pivoting on her heel and kneeing Susan in the back of the head. Terri climbs onto the ring apron as she sizes up her opponent and former comrade before dropping a leg across Susan’s exposed chest. The impact of the blow causes Susan torso to slump out of the ring, as the rest of her falls on top of her. Terri gets back into the ring as she measures Susan on the outside. Susan rights herself but turns right into a baseball slide from Terri on the inside, which knocks the larger woman down again. Terri takes a chance by climbing to the top turnbuckle. Terri aims to do further damage to Susan on the outside, so she takes her time to pick her spot. Susan rights herself and turns around right before Terri flies off the top rope. Susan senses the danger and suddenly explodes, using her full power to knock Terri out of the air with a clothesline, earning a pop from the astonished crowd.

Torrie: Oh my Lord! What power from Susan! She just knocked Terri right out of the air!

Sable: I don’t care what anyone says, that was nothing but impressive.

Susan stops to take in the roaring crowd, who cheers in satisfaction as Susan grabs Terri and flings her back into the ring. Susan hammers away on Terri locks on a hammer lock. BACKGROUND

With Teddy Long's introduction of the "new talent initiative" to ECW has brought many new faces and talent to the brand. Paving the landscape for many bright stars that may one day become be the proverbial next big thing. None of the new talents have grown more succesful than a man named, "Classic" Colt Cabana. The indy wrestler has managed to make the transition to the big leagues rather easily. Already with a massive cult following from his years in such promotions ROH and PWG, Cabana has found himself loved even more in World Wrestling Entertainment. His in-ring ability, technical skill, and smoothness in the ring has already impressed the smart wrestling fan.
