One snag I’ve hit with my WCW lives BTB is whether or not I want to have them continue doing monthly pay per views or scaling back as a money effective cost… what’s some thoughts?

It depends because if Ted still owns he has that Khan money.

In my version fusient media and Eric bischoff run it. Those guys had substantial money. But I’ve trying to think about somewhat from a conservative stand point since what I’ve read about their positive purchase they would centralized filming in Vegas.

I could see them scaling it back to maybe 10 PPVs a year with a couple of Clash of the Champion TV specials on the non PPV months.

That’s something I hadn’t considered. I appreciate it.

I think Dubb is spot on. That's a realistic scenario with legs, imo.

Personally, I think WCW in 2001 would realistically drop down to only their most important pay-per-views, not only to save money, but to make them more special in the eyes of fans.

This is likely an idea I would have for you:

SuperBrawl - February
The Great American Bash - June
Bash at the Beach - August
Halloween Havoc - October
Starrcade - December

Then every month you'd be able to run a monthly Clash of the Champions, like WCW in the early 90s.

Even adding to that, you could name the Clash of the Champions specials after the WCW PPVs you are getting rid of (like current day NXT kinda does). Clash of Champions: The Spring Stampede, Clash of Champions: Fall Brawl (or War Games), etc.

By the way, for anyone who was reading my WWF 1993 BTB over on WC, I was a show ahead over here, I'd post it here, then post the next show before posting the previous show over on the other site. If anyone's interested, this is where I'm at with it now.

When thinking about it these were the ones I would go with cause of the monumental moments that happened at these shows.

I’m definitely going to check it out. Also, side note, isn’t it funny how WCW would hold an event called great American bash in June instead of July? Lol

Yeah lmfao, I think in the 80s they used to hold it all Summer since it was a tour, but I dunno why they moved it to June. :lol

My only guess is because Bash At The Beach/Beach Blast was held in July.

It wasn't always the case either, the original GABs I believe were in July.
