Seems like you're proving your own point about dumb wrestling fans.

:emoji_wink:
Clutching at straws there lol. I think that's a point that does not need to be proven. Dumb wrestling fans are inevitable

CM Punk wrestled R-Truth and Kofi Kingston ffs. Is it a world title or a mid card title? Punk played second fiddle to Cena vs Laurenitis for a reason.
Punk only faced R-Truth and Kofi once on PPV as champion, and that was in the elimination chamber. He never defended against either of them one on one on PPV.

Punk played second fiddle because WWE to Cena because WWE preferred Cena, not because Punk did anything particularly wrong. His booking is at fault, not his mic work nor ring work. I doubt anyone at Over the Limit would be upset with CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan going on last instead of Cena vs. Laurenitis.

when he took most of his moves from other people.
There's nothing wrong with adopting moves from other people. Wrestlers don't need to create original moves in order to be entertaining.

Buy rates and viewership plummeted when [Punk] was champ..
There's more to the WWE product than just the primary championship. There's still the tag division, the women's (at that time divas) division, the two midcard titles, and at that time the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk could very well have been one of the highlights of the show, but if the rest of the show is garbage, then it's no surprise ratings would go down.

@Redboy123@ @Grievous listen, guys, it's really cute and all for you two to be play fighting here, but how about you guys stop slapping one another and ignore this petty little thing. Stop posting. It doesn't matter who gets the final word in. It doesn't matter, either. None of this matters. Life doesn't matter. Everything is meaningless.

I'll agree with the first part...

This video is the best thing ever. I first seen it years ago I don't remember when but I can still rewatch it all the time.

So every single wrestler that's ever entertained you has created at least one original, unique move that was never before performed? Not one single wrestler that failed to create a new move entertains you?

Forgive me, but I don't understand how that can be the case.

It is man, it always makes laugh. I only found it due to Jonny quoting it on here.

My point was CM Punk got over with moves he took from other wrestlers and then called himself the best in the world...

But I would say yes, a wrestler has to do something unique and original to get my attention.

So if someone didn't create their own move but did have a unique gimmick they would be interesting enough for you?

He just really likes Lou Thesz
I actually was thinking about Thesz since he created the German suplex, which is one of Lesnar's three moves.

What? I didn't say that. Don't put words in my mouth, I'm just saying a wrestler needs to be creative and come up with new stuff to be a star and get attention...

This is my original question:
So every single wrestler that's ever entertained you has created at least one original, unique move that was never before performed? Not one single wrestler that failed to create a new move entertains you?
This is your response:
But I would say yes, a wrestler has to do something unique and original to get my attention.

You should've read more carefully. Now then, what does "new stuff" mean to you? Exclusively moves? Do gimmicks count? Elaborate.

I'm glad you said that, because isn't that what every wrestler should be trying to do?
