And yes, Brock does draw but not nearly as much as he used to and this likely has a lot to do with people being fed up with him not being around enough coupled with matches against Roman Reigns.

Well that's Roman's booking who is the problem here, don't blame this on Brock... There are tons of missed opportunities with Brock, just imagine... Brock vs Batista, Brock vs Finn, Brock vs Bryan, Brock vs Angle in a rematch, Brock vs Cesaro and I could go on... This is all booking's fault, not Brock.

I don't care much for Phil but his Punk character was good. He was a hard worker and worked harder than a lot of others in the company which is part of the reason he was pissed. He put in the time and still got treated like a mid-carder. Not to mention how over he was or how they medically neglected him. Then you have Brock (as I have mentioned, I do like him) who hardly does anything and makes tons of money. I have explained that I understand why in other threads but to me, your pay should reflect what you do not who you are.

Punk did more for the company during his reign than Brock has during his. That isn't even an opinion, that is fact. They pay Brock way more which equates to less money and coupled with him pulling in less money as of late just means even more of a loss for the company. They paid Punk much less and he brought in tons of cash.

I understand not liking the dude. I have zero respect for him as a person but he was a hard worker and you can't ignore that.

I will never agree with this mindset...Ok sure, he worked hard, no one can dispute that, no one can take that away from him. But so does most people in the WWE. Reminder that he was World Heavyweight Champion 3 times, 2 times WWE champion and for 400+ days, 2 times Mister Money in the Bank and he is a Triple Crown Champion. No reason to bitch and quit the company the way he did. Lots of people in WWE would be very happy just to get half of what he accomplished.

Fine, if you are unhappy just leave and that's the end of it, but no he has to complain on a podcast to bury the company who made him a star. I know what you mean, there is a difference between Punk the character and Phil the person, but the line is really thin with this guy, he is as much of a douchebag on TV as he is in real life. I guess that's what people liked about him. But saying fuck you to the fans, disrespecting other people in the business, calling himself the best in the world when he took most of his moves from other people.

Okay time to stop ranting now, sorry about that. All I gotta say, in the end is good luck to him in his UFC fight next month. Because as much as I dislike the guy, another defeat in a row would just make him the ultimate joke of the fighting world and I don't wish that on my worst enemy.

You have ever right to not like him. A lot of people don't. I honestly laughed when he lost in UFC. I was a fan of his character in WWE but hardly a fan of his. We can compare this to LeBron leaving Cleveland for a second. He had every right to leave and try something new but the way he left (quitting in the playoffs while still on the Cavs and then hosting his departure as a show) wasn't good and it was well documented by a lot of people that it was a complete shite move on his part. I would imagine a lot of his fans (now former) felt this way when Punk left. It wasn't because he left but how he acted right before and then after the fact.

There is a lot that happened to him. One big one was being fired on his wedding day. Vince did a lot of cheap crap to him and he had every right to be pissed. I can't blame him for some of the things he said, he is only human but I do agree that the way he handled everything was very childish. There was a lot to be grateful for but not everyone can have that same outlook on life. A lot of people crumble under pressure of not being heard and it usually comes off in a very yellow tone.

I still don't believe that the "being fired on his wedding day" was just Vince doing this just to troll him, I doubt Vince is the one writing or sending all the papers for a job release to an employee, that's some bureaucrat doing this work, who probably has no idea that punk is getting married at all. I more believe in Karma on this one.

Vince can be a very petty man at times so you can't put things past him like this. At this point, Punk is gone and likely never coming back to the WWE. Half of me says "good for him" the other half says "good riddance".

I'm sorry Snake...but I just don't care...

I don't care about Punk & Lesnar is a lazy over paid prick
who gets a free pass because "HE'S A DRAW MAN!!1!"

Frankly we should be discussing wrestlers who are:

a). Currently signed to the WWE...
&
b). Actually put an effort in while entertaining us as an audience...

So basically...anyone else besides Punk & Lesnar.

He was a hard worker, just like 95% of the roster?.. Being a hard worker doesn't make someone main-event material... Brock makes way more money because ticket sales, merch and viewership goes up when he's around.. Punk is one of the lowest drawing WWE Champions of all time and that's just the truth.. He sold a ton of merch for a few months then people moved on from him.. Buy rates and viewership plummeted when he was champ..

I didn't see things drop for him, at least for weekly shows. Maybe this was the case for PPVs. Honestly, it don't matter at this point. Comparing the two (Brock and Punk), one of them has clearly done way less (regardless of reason). They need to pull the trigger and have someone get the belt off him. I am still hoping for Bobby.
