QUOTE ="seabs, post: 992342, member: 17"]They do in modern WWE? Michaels played the defacto heel role in their feud also didn't he?[ QUOTE ]

No, he was still a babyface, he just showed a bit of desperation in his actions. But he was never presented by the commentators as a heel, and he sure as hell wasn't treated as one by the audiences.

Not every feud has to have some clearly defined 'Hero' and 'Villain' with no room for a grey area; Things are not always so black and white, even in WWE.

Taker won't turn Heel, the crowd is to behind him to beat Lesner into the next Galaxy. **But,** if Lesnar was being 'beat up' by Taker and tried to exit, *then* Kane could show up and block his way, forcing him back into the ring where Taker would demolish him, and after the 3 count, Kane would raise Taker's arm in victory and both would smile. Oh, and 'The Brothers of Destruction' would be back.........

"Slightly different circumstances. Cena did that post losing dirty to Rusev I'm guessing ( I don't really remember that shitfest of a feud too well) Brock beat Taker clean."

Well it was different, true. But, I think this shows a desperate taker. Like he will find a way to beat Brock. At no point has taker come out and made any sort of heel remark. He just took a cheap shot on Brock to gain the upper hand. I think it shows more or less that he will do whatever it takes to prove he can beat Brock, not so much turning a heel.
