They had love for Cena for sticking up to Vince and Tista bullying and talking shit to Bret. They had enough people emotionally involved where they didn't need the title.

But Hart/Vince haven't even been mentioned once. I mean, Batista attacked Cena for Vince, and? Don't see the big deal, it's just one of the many ways for them to get a match. What else would you have them do? The neck thing sounds absolutely dumb, why would he randomly start caring about his neck now? Royal Rumble sounds somewhat plausible but it's SO damn over-done. Why not go with a more different, unique direction this time?
I somewhat agree with they didn't need the title at all, but I doubt Vince would let a match of that magnitude go un-milked. And guess he didn't have enough faith in Sheamus to go to WM with it.

Their name hasn't come up? Cena just won the WWE title in the Chamber match. Why else would Vince make Cena defend the title against Tista? Vince is pissed with Cena sticking his nose in his buisness. Tista did what he was supose to do in attacking Bret and Cena on Raw. His reward, he gets to take the title from Cena. Why Cena? Because Cena got in buisness that he didn't need to be in. Cena was calling Vince out on his cowardness. Sayiing he's scared of Bret. Vince didn't like that. So he got back at him. I don't understand what there isn't to get.

If they let Bret win the belt for one night, wrestling is gayer than ever. I don't care if Bret shows up at WM and maybe interferes or something but don't let him touch the belt.

Yes, that was to SET UP the feud. Where was it even mentioned in that beat down this week? That just made you hate Batista more since he cut a deal with VINCE to fuck over Cena. I wouldn't be surprised if now later on, Cena brings up their Summerslam match and maybe the injury, just to try and bring new elements in it. I just think you + others are jumping the gun and criticizing something pointless like Bret/Vince being involved to START their feud?
