I dont really think Jeff Hardy of all people will sign to TNA, just wanted to toss that out.

I don't think WWE has to worry about their released talent so much as they do their current younger stars.

someone mentioned what happened when tna went up against wwe and lost half their veiwers but the exact same thing happened when wwe put ECW up against impact and impact more than doubled the ECW rating. honestly hogans name alone for the spike tv network may make TNA the most watched show on the network and that would pretty much get tna at the very least another 5-10 years garuanteed on spike, just look at what UFC has done with the ultimate fighter, spike wouldn't let the money go away.

im not saying its competition, but TNA is already beating WWE out in 2 of their 4 shows(ecw and superstars), it just goes to prove that the WWE banner isn't so powerful, people tune into raw becuase its been on tv for 15+ years and smackdown for 10+ years, smackdown averages around a 2.2-2.4 rating from what ive seen lately, if tna can get to that mark it makes them a a serious contender, and hogan knows best had great ratings on vh1 and wasn't that scott baio show produced by bishoff that had decent ratings as well, i think the biggest thing this will do is help improve tna's marketing, i doubt tna will ever reach raw ratings no matter what unless somehow they can get on a station like NBC and then again saturday nights or sunday's would be the only reasonable days a company like that would take a chance on wrestling from a company like tna.

You people do realize there is such thing as DVR right. Both shows can still be watched and I heard idk how true it is that some how DVR now plays in to ratings. I for one will record both and most likely watch TNA first over Raw if Raw is still the way it is if and when this happens.

Hogan signs with TNA? How much money Linda take him for?

He's not going to be wrestling is he? Please don't tell me they already typed in his name as the next opponent for the TNA title. I've grown tired of Hulk's over-powering bullshit and the no-backbone writers and owners that think just because he was once the almighty god in the 80's they think he'll bring up ratings. I swear if he tries to re-create Mega Powers with Jay Lethal, I'll quit TNA for life.

As for Bischoff, he's cool.

Hogan's age diminishes his star power. I would say if he was 10 years younger, this would be HUGE. This is basically TNA signing a senior citizen, that's why it's not THAT big of news. Sure people are talking, but nobody is freaking the hell out, well a couple people, but most people aren't too impressed with this. They are just predicting how many ways this can go south.

I just read a poster by Bubba The Love Sponge saying Hogan is booker and Bischoff is with him. He says they will run TNA.

Look either TNA is gonna die because Hogans paycheck will be enough to swallow up at least a dozen x division stars, or they will die because their lack of money will allow WWE to buy up all their big stars.

So why the fuck should TNA NOT go head to head with RAW? Win or lose, live or die THIS is going to make or break TNA for good. They can't afford Hulk Hogan unless they enter this War anyway. Because they are gonna need to get a SHIT TON more money. This is the only way that's gonna happen. So why the fuck not?

LOL

TNA SIGNS...

Kennedy (who hurts people for real in ring)

Hulk Hogan (fucked up in general, suicidal, crazy family, divorced, drug addict)

Jeff Hardy (need I say anything at all?)

I love how TNA could get away with these kind of things

It's called star power...

Tbh if I had to choose, I'd watch an entertaining iMPACT over a boring, repetitive Monday Night RAW.

Me too. Monday Night RAW is the same thing being done over and over again, they need to come up with some fresh storylines and rivalries and get a new WWE Champion like Shawn Michaels or something.

I have to lol at one thing. You think WWE is the one who should be getting worried about their younger stars? How about TNA? They were pushing Morgan and Hernandez to main event status, and now a feud with Rhyno for one and whatever the other one is doing is nothing like that.

There are plenty of stars in TNA horribly misused as of now, can you imagine what would happen when Hogan arrives and if they indeed bring in Mr. Kennedy, etc...?

BTW, just wanted to point something out. Mr. Kennedy is actually hoping to make it back to the WWE, reason why he has turned down any negociation with any other company. His people apparently told him that WWE will want him back after being involved with Hogan.

lol at people still using Wrestlezone as a credible source.

Numerous sources have noted that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are not taking over the creative reigns of the company, despite what has been claimed elsewhere. I am sure Hogan will have creative control over how he is used, but Vince Russo, Ed Ferrara, etc. are not being replaced.

Obviously, Hogan is going to have some influence. I am told he has suggestions of talents he'd like to see brought into the company but there are no wrestlers or personalities 100% set yet and there is no one that TNA is required to use as part of the Hogan-Bischoff deal.

In regard to rumors of TNA being moved to Mondays, there is nothing to that at this time, according to SpikeTV sources. . TNA's production schedule is set through April of 2010 while house show tours are already booked through May. Spike wants to continue to build Impact as their destination show for Thursdays, one of the reasons the Saturday replay was eliminated a few weeks back

There has been no discussion of changing the Impact format from a taped series to a live production, either.

source: PWInsider

TNA just signed Hogan and Bishoff. They haven't even done anything yet. I highly doubt that TNA would move to Monday. If they were going to, don't you think that iMPACT (their flagship show) would go up against WWE's flagship show? Wouldn't you think that they would 1st try to increase their ratings before going up against the top pro wrestling promotion in the last 10+ years? Sure it'd be great for TNA to move, but right now, hell no. Just because Hogan is in the company and will boast ratings, doesn't mean he can do it alone. You can't have nothing but Hogan for 2hrs. It's TNA not TNH (Total Non-stop Hogan).

^^^WCW hadn't begun to significantly compete with WWE on a ratings level UNTIL they'd launched Nitro on a Monday night.

As for it not being TNH (lol)... That's not to say they haven't got enough talent on their roster to compete with WWE though... Like with WWE atm, you can have an amazing roster (which they HAVE!) but without booking & writing of a similar quality it won't amount to shit.

I have to lol at one thing. You think WWE is the one who should be getting worried about their younger stars? How about TNA? They were pushing Morgan and Hernandez to main event status, and now a feud with Rhyno for one and whatever the other one is doing is nothing like that.

That's two guys who's ME pushes have merely slowed (still, when I watched Impact LAST WEEK, both seemed notably more elevated than when I saw them last).... Quality guys like MVP, Carlito and so on on the other hand are barely getting TV time, period.

Or, use Elijah Burke as an example.... What did WWE do with him? Fuck all.... Meanwhile, mere weeks after debut, he's already blatantly got a good thing going on in TNA.

There are plenty of stars in TNA horribly misused as of now, can you imagine what would happen when Hogan arrives and if they indeed bring in Mr. Kennedy, etc...?

With another show POSSIBLY in the mix, it'll create more time for the guys that don't get used much right now.... They could/should(imo) dedicate AT LEAST half a show per week exclusively to the X-Division.

BTW, just wanted to point something out. Mr. Kennedy is actually hoping to make it back to the WWE, reason why he has turned down any negociation with any other company. His people apparently told him that WWE will want him back after being involved with Hogan.

He said nothing of the sort in his VERY recent RF Shoot vid.... Got a source?
