That's what I'm saying. All of those guys perpetually stuck on the mid-card and the guys they refuse to push... better watch your ass Vince.

Absolutely.... Both Colons, Bourne & Punk immediately spring to mind. Maybe even the the likes of MVP, Masters, Swagger, Ryder, Knox, Chavo, Noble...

If I was Umaga I'd be knocking' on Dixies door too.

I'd imagine the likes of JoMo, Ziggler & Kofi are probably having the proverbial carrot dangled atm, so wouldn't envisage them being too interested at this juncture. However, keep them hangin' long enough and I'm sure their heads could be turned too.

Just imagine, all goes well with Hogan & the new show, they get a talent influx of relatively young guys who haven't reached their potential (see Radicals & Jericho > WWE during 99/00) all suddenly allowed to work an 'unrestricted' style only for TNA to eventually, somewhere down the line sign a ready-to-wrestle-once-more Jeff Hardy. :shock2: ...WWE would be fucked!

...The irony in all this is the number one factor in WWE's eventually beating WCW was their willingness/ability to create new stars and as WWE have PROVEN in recent months they simply can't/won't.

Lol. I'll be watching TNA except for probably the opening (depending who is out, WWE if it's Triple H, HBK, or Y2J), and possibly the main event (again, depends). Then again, I could just DVR both.

Definitely. If I was any of the above listed guys I would be looking for a way out soon as well. An up and coming company offering you the chance to possibly be the face of a new era of wrestling and have a company built around you instead of being crushed by the same 3 guys.
Carlito already wanted out a few years ago and I'm sure isn't happy he stuck around..
Punk is now feuding with a referee after being buried in 3 world title reigns. Also, a lot of his former ROH buddies are there...one just debuted against Kurt fucking Angle.
Umaga was already on Hogans tour who is now a member of TNA...so...only a matter of time.
Same with Kennedy.
Bourne in the fucking X-Division....cmon?

Guys like Jomo, Ziggler and Swagger might hang on for a bit longer to see if they can make it to the main event. Somehow I doubt it though.
Hell...even Christian may question leaving TNA?

Why would they get raped in the ratings?

They've got the biggest name in all of professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan. They've got a creative genius, Eric Bischoff. They've got a pretty darn impressive roster full of veterans and young guys alike. And I think, they have the potential to be better than WWE's RAW. I mean, why not? RAW is getting boring and stale every week, TNA on the other hand has just started to look exciting.

It's people just typing out of their ass like usual. Same people and blueberries who continously even now keep saying how "bad" TNA is.

Get Hulk Hogan
Think they're saved
Compete with Raw

Get slaughtered in ratings
Like this.

And lol at people not caring about Hogan anymore..

You people don't realize Hulk Hogan's star power, even though he's old and fucked up, the guy still has one of the biggest names in the industry, he still draws attention from fans around the world, reason why you're all viewing this thread right now and saying he's 'shit'. You all are gonna watch him debut on Impact even though you think he sucks, that's just Hulk Hogan.

Let's just wait till his debut on Impact and you guys are gonna see the ratings go up, possibly beat RAW. Aren't you guys tired of Cena/Orton/Shawn/HHH and the same old boring shit?

We need some Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan, BROTHER.

I personally think this can go one of two ways, 1. Hogan comes and makes a huge impact, no pun, and TNA becomes real competition for WWE. Or 2. Hogans comes in and does nothing except ruin everything TNA has been building in terms of young stars leading to the end of the company.

Yeah I've said 2 of the 3 possibilities but I see Hogan in TNA as being an all or nothing scenario. There isn't any middle ground either TNA is going to step up and be real competition or fade away.

There is no fucking way TNA will beat RAW in ratings on Hogans debut, they may increase but they won't beat RAWs, even if the show is better then RAWs, there just won't be enough people that know Hogan's going to debut or that know about TNA, maybe in time they could get up there.

I don't know if a second show was a good decision, they only just started getting Impact good, now theyre gonna have another show? I'm not saying it's not going to work but I think its a little early. I wish Impact built alot of momentum before going to the second show and everything and gave WWE a real battle, then WWE might have gotten rid of the kiddie shit and actually put on great shows to keep their fans away from TNA.

Maybe the second show was Bischoff's idea? Would the same people still be bitching? Also, yeah I doubt they would instantly beat Raw's ratings.. And I don't know how fucked up Hogan is anymore, he had surgery to fix his back, I think the only real problem he has is his fake hip.

^They still haven't made it completely clear if Hogan will be directly involved in TNA. They kind of made it sound like he and Bischoff will be working on an off-shoot of the company. The second show on Mondays very well may be a specialty show as they've indicated before... such as a Knockout show or an X Division show. Either that or Impact will move to Mondays. Still not completely clear on the details so we all just have to wait and see.

And obviously Hogan's debut probably won't beat RAW's... but I'm sure the buzz will get around awfully quick and can only mean good things for their ratings in the future.

There was a report that clearly said Hogan is returning as a wrestler. Of course with not as hectic of a schedule as AJ, Daniels, Joe, etc. but he would be in that type of role, probably like Sting. Also, Hogan wrestling wouldn't be bad at all if he was a heel (his WWE run, not bad).
