Brett Favre left Green Bay on Wednesday and landed on a new team minutes before midnight ET when the Packers traded him to the Jets. New York will reportedly send an '09 draft pick to Green Bay.

the trade is a lot more complicated then that. its like if he takes 50% of the snaps they get a 3rd round pick. 70% of the snaps and make playoffs 2nd round pick. 80% or something and make Super Bowl they get a 1st round pick. If they trade him to the Vikings they get a 1st round pick for the next 3 seasons.

btw, I'm really pissed off at Brett and the Packers right now. They're my favorite team and I just got a Brett Jersey on Christmas last year. I only wore it like 10 times. I really wish he woudlve stayed retired so I could wear it.

Trust me, Giants Back-to-Back. We got a good team. I don't understand why we are still the underdogs. Look at the records.

League Championships (7)

* NFL Championships (4)
1927, 1934, 1938, 1956

* Super Bowl Championships (3)
1986 (XXI), 1990 (XXV), 2007 (XLII)

Conference Championships (10)

* NFL Eastern: 1956, 1958, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1963
* NFC: 1986, 1990, 2000, 2007

Division Championships (14)

* NFL East: 1933, 1934, 1935, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1944, 1946
* NFC East: 1986, 1989, 1990, 1997, 2000, 2005

the past doesnt matter when your talking about the present in sports. Hell the Dolphins could win the SB this year. I would bet on them before the Giants

neither do the Giants man. They won the superbowl but they dont have the team to do it again. and I knew favre would end up with the Jets. The packers wouldnt let him go anywhere else. I dont think me minds about going somewhere else. well see what the jets do, i just think he wants to play

What do you mean that they don't have the team to do it again? Strathan retired and Shockey is possibly going to the Saints. It's not like we lost our whole franchise on our team.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HELL YEAH!!!!! lmao...but yeah...I can't believe the Jets released Chad Pennington. The Cowboys might wanna get him as backup in case Romo was injured.
