Bray_Wyatt_1920x1080--358ea67b1365f26757b4b4d4205c8522.jpg

Bray Wyatt suffered a right calf injury on Wednesday, WWE.com has learned.

The injury came during Wyatt’s match on the first Live Event of WWE’s European tour in Milan, Italy.

Check back with WWE.com for updates on this developing story.
WWE can't catch a break. Chalk another one up to injury season.

Damn I was looking forward to seeing a face Bray Wyatt and how it goes. Hopefully he's not gone too soon, but what's to come for the other members of the Wyatt family now? Tags till Bray comes back or what?

Just got over his back injury.

Should use houseshows as a place to learn the tricks of the trade where they get the most out of doing the least.

Hopefully it's not too serious. With a calf injury, he could probably still work TV and cut promos from the rocking chair

He essentially backed Reigns into a corner and came out lame. I'd say that's doing the least with the worst possible result.

I've mentioned it before but it bears repeating that injuries like this can very easily be attributed to the insane travel schedule imposed on the wrestlers by WWE. Reigns and Wyatt were in the main event on Monday Night Raw, hopped a 16 hour flight across multiple time zones to Italy on Tuesday and were back in the ring on Wednesday. That's hardly enough time for the body to recover from the flight, let alone from the stress put on it the day before. There needs to be a serious re-assessment of these travel policies or we'll just see more and more injuries pop up.

Unfortunately, WWE makes too much with its 300 plus dates a year to see any real change. You would think at the very least they would revolve the talent and let guys who worked Raw take it easy and have guys who don't generally work TV work those international shows, but I guess WWE wants every show you go to to feel like a major event.

How do they make that's much? Over heard House Shows aren't fully packed, even for WWE(unless it's more popular over there).

They could easily cut some of that out.

Every wrestler that's come through the doors has complained about the workload. Wrestlers use to jump ship to WCW for reduced schedules, hell even Kurt Angle went to TNA for a lighter schedule. I'm sure if it was that easy to cut down on the shows, WWE would have. They must be making money somewhere doing it the way they have always done it.

Of course they're making money on the tours. Aside from the obvious ticket sales, it's just another way for them to move merchandise. The lines at Roadblock for t-shirts and other crap they sell were at least three times the length of any for beer or food. They're making a small fortune selling these cheaply manufactured goods, so if they can do that 300 times a year you can damn well be sure it's going to continue.

Honestly, The Wyatt's are just so unbelievably bleh that they could never return to TV and I wouldn't miss them at all. They came up to the roster with so much promise and I honestly don't think they've come anywhere near to fulfilling that promise other than outside the odd one or two feuds.

Just feels like the same garbage with them every single time. Start a feud, cut a load of mumbo jumbo promos that literally mean absolutely nothing, throw in the same buzzwords time and time again 'Follow the Buzzards, down with the machine, Sister Abigail' etc. Lose the feud, rinse and repeat.

Not only do I agree, but I think if he separated himself completely from "The Family," he might be able reach that next plateau that has eluded him. I think Luke Harper could benefit from standing on his own two feet as well.
