not 100% sure TNA's math is right here. Pretty sure Daniels & Magnus haven't fought everyone.

EDIT: Yep, Magnus hasn't faced RVD one on one. And including the gauntlet & hardcore match, he's wrestled 12 times.

Now Magnus can't win the series, I really hope Bully Ray does.

It's annoying. TNA was really on course to be a lot more consistent with this this year. Instead, they appear to be cutting a few corners booking wise. Luckily for them, only math nerds like me will notice, the average fan will just nod and move on.

A big development in the series:

During the Hardcore Justice PPV event in Orlando, Florida on August 12, 2012 the thugs known as The Aces and 8s attacked The Pope D’Angelo Dinero. The vicious assault focused on the shoulder and eliminated him from competing that night costing him 20 points in the BFG Series.

During a visit to his doctor last week, Dinero found out it cost him more. The Pope sent out the to following tweet, confirming the injury.

This news has caused Impact Wrestling to officially eliminate Dinero from the remainder of the 2012 BFG Series! In this year’s format for the BFG Series, every wrestler was scheduled to face everyone in the tournament. Dinero still had three matches left in the series vs. AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam and Robbie E!

ImpactWrestling.com has learned that Sting will be making a decision regarding this situation and those matches on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling Live on Spike TV at 8/7c.

So Pope's down and out, and will likely finish bottom if Robbie gets a bye over him. And I believe that's Robbie's last scheduled match too.

A bye for AJ & RVD would be big given their current positions. Let's see what Sting has to say tonight I guess.

Heck of a job done with this by TNA this year, a vast improvement over last year for sure. Biggest shock = Angle finishing 7th?
