I kinda pieced it together today that the show closing angle was probably meant to be very similar to when Orton cashed in on Bryan at the end of SummerSlam 2013.

Only, it wasn't Bryan's first world title win and SummerSlam 2013 wasn't a disappointing show leading up to that moment.

I kinda think that is the main problem for me. This show needed that feel good moment to close it to make it not feel like a waste. Whole show was mediocre, to put it somewhat kindly, and then I didn't even get the final payoff I wanted.
